. EXPERIENCE OF DEVELOPMENT OF SHALLOW HEAVY OIL
ACCUMULATIONS
- The work presents experience of using new technologies to develop
- Tatarstans heavy oil reservoirs. Pilot tests of a technology using
- U-shaped horizontal wells completed from surface and steam
(810 ) (48 ), - injection to lower the viscosity of in-situ oil were carried out at
- shallow pools of the Ashalchinskoye field. Successful results of the
- - pilot phase made it possible to commence a commercial phase of the
, project. Currently, a stable production rate of around 1,000 t/d has
(40200 ). - been achieved; the current steam-oil ratio is 3.6 t/ton par with the
- best practices; the estimated final oil recovery factor is 0.7.
