Dear St. Louis Park Parent/Guardian,

We are pleased to offer your child a chance take part in a summer learning at Peter Hobart during the weeks of June
21st and July 26th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Summer learning at Peter Hobart will give your child time on the computers to
practice reading and math skills, and receive a free book. Your child can participate in some or all sessions. On
August 2nd, teachers will join families for National Night Out at Louisiana Courts.
Students coming from Summer Explorers will be dropped off at Peter Hobart Elementary where a small group
of teachers will meet students.
Students coming from Louisiana Courts or Rhode Island Chateau will meet a small group of teachers at the
Louisiana Court Apartment basketball court at 2:45. As a group, everyone will walk over to Peter Hobart.
Parents are welcomed to join or drop their child off.
There will be a snack, read aloud, computer time, and free book given each week.
The group will leave Peter Hobart at 4:45 p.m. to return to Louisiana Court Apartment basketball court at
5:00.
AQUILA FAMILIES ONLY- Students from Aquila will need to have transportation home from Peter Hobart.
Pick up is at 4:45 p.m-5:00 p.m.

In order for your child to attend these field trips, you must sign and return the bottom half of this permission.

Peter Hobart Summer Learning Permission Form

We understand the arrangements described above and believe the necessary precautions and plans for the care and
supervision of students during the field trip will be taken. Beyond this we will not hold the school or those
supervising the trip responsible.
