2017 Facilities Management Employee Appreciation Banquet

Last month, Facilities Management honored great performance and long-serving employees at an annual appreciation banquet.

FEB. 9, 2017

On January 12th, approximately 620 employees attended the 4th Annual Facilities ManagementEmployee Appreciation andRecognition banquet. Bob
Reuning, Associate Vice President forFacilities Management, kicked o the event by welcoming new employees to the department, and reflecting on
accomplishments from the past year. Then he recognized each employee who had reached a milestone anniversary in 2016.

Annette Sardelli and Morris Landes, pictured below, were acknowledged for 55 and 50 years of service, respectively. Even aer 55 years, Sardelli says she
ishappy to come to work. She called FM a family because they have always cared for her.

The event itself felt like a family gathering: employees visited with friends and coworkers, and enjoyed a great meal together. Aer lunch, thedirectors went
around the room and gave each of their honorees a Facilities Management token of appreciation.

When asked about the event, Nancy Yeroshefsky,Director of Human Resources for Facilities Management, remarked, I never get over the feeling of pride I
experience when I look over the sea of faces in the room and get that chance to see the faces of FM - those who serve and contribute to the success of our
university's mission.
