Manage behavior of students in classes of various sizes (20-35), grade levels, and subjects
while implementing substitute teaching lesson plans laid out by the primary teacher
Assist students in their subject work, encourage them to always perform to the best of their
abilities, and provide extra intervention in various subjects
Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement for good behavior, while continually re-
directing the attention of students who are off task, creating disruptions, or are having difficulty
behaving
Improvise during situations in which the students are not responding positively to the material,
or there is a lack of adequate material to hold the attention of the students, and adjust teaching
style accordingly
Experience in special education classes, RSP classes, ED classrooms, Autism classroom at
Wyandotte Academy in Oroville, and experience in preschool at Thermalito Family Center
Majority of experience has been in k-5th grade classrooms in Oroville, Palermo, Durham,
Paradise, and Thermalito school districts

were performing to the best of their abilities through pop quizzes and other assessment strategies
