1 Subject

The present scope of work covers the supply of three Gas Turbines AE94.3A and their
Generators (indoor installation).
The present scope of work does not include systems and components, which are not explicitly
indicated.

Note:
The gas turbine and all the equipment supplied with, included the Gas Turbine control system,
are featured by well proven characteristics since they are manufactured strictly in accordance
with the Manufacturer standard design and on the basis of the Manufacturer experience, which
ensure safety and high operating reliability in all conditions. Any modification to the original
design or to the original materials could negatively affect gas turbine availability and led to
guarantees decay. For the above reason, it is not possible to change the design philosophy and
the design material of the Gas Turbine and its relevant equipment. Therefore the Gas Turbine
and all the relevant equipment and instrumentation will be supplied according to the
Manufacturer standard design and in compliance with the Manufacturer standards, which are
considered prevailing in case of conflict with other Codes indicated by the Customer. As
identification code, the KKS standard will be used.

2 Scope of works

2.1 Main Equipment

2.1.1 One (1) gas turbine set and auxiliary systems and equipments suitable
for indoor installation.

The gas turbine set includes:

AE94.3A Gas Turbine

Gas Turbine flange to flange with annular combustion chamber, including:

Blow off and cooling air valves


Variable inlet guide vanes and actuation system
On board drainage system
Intermediate shaft (between gas turbine and generator)
Gas Turbine thermal skin insulation
Air drying system
Single fuel gas hybrid burners (24)
Equipment supports (seismic load: 0.2 g horizontal, 0.1 g vertical)

Base plates and anchor bolts for gas turbine and related auxiliaries and accessories, including

Lube and lifting oil system including:


- Lube oil skid with tank, main and auxiliary pumps (a.c. motor driven), emergency

suitable for indoor installation. Enclosures will be provided with the relevant air extraction
system, fire detection system, lighting according to the equipment specific requirements.

within the area for the supplied systems and starting from the limit of supply points

2.3 GT Control system

Enclosures for Gas Turbine, Generator, Natural Gas and Fuel Oil Skid (80 dB(A) at 1m,
free field), suitable for indoor installation. Enclosures will be provided with the relevant air
extraction system, fire detection system, lighting according to the equipment specific
requirements.

1. Subject

The present scope of work covers the supply of one Steam Turbine MT15-33 and its Generator
(indoor installation).
The present scope of work does not include systems and components, which are not explicitly
indicated.

Note:
The steam turbine and all the equipment supplied with, included the Steam Turbine control
system, are featured by well proven characteristics since they are manufactured strictly in
accordance with the Manufacturer standard design and on the basis of the Manufacturer
experience, which ensure safety and high operating reliability in all conditions. Any modification
to the original design or to the original materials could negatively affect steam turbine availability
and led to guarantees decay. For the above reason, it is not possible to change the design
philosophy and the design material of the Steam Turbine and its relevant equipment. Therefore
the Steam Turbine and all the relevant equipment and instrumentation will be supplied
according to the Manufacturer standard design and in compliance with the Manufacturer
standards, which are considered prevailing in case of conflict with other Codes indicated by the
Customer. As identification code, the KKS standard will be used.

2. Scope of works

2.1 Main Equipment

2.1.1 one (1) steam turbine set and auxiliary systems and equipments suitable
for indoor installation.

The steam turbine set includes:

MT15-33 Steam Turbine, two cylinders, tandem compound, with one HP section and one
combined IP/LP section with axial exhaust.

One combined HP emergency stop and control valve hydraulically operated with
coarse-mesh strainer

One combined RH emergency/control valves hydraulically operated with coarse-


mesh strainer

LP (SV/CV) admission valves (pneumatically operated) and strainer basket type

One non return valve on CRH line, pneumatically operated (loose supply)

Vacuum breaker valve

Turning gear, AC motor driven

Lube and control oil system including:
o One main oil pump gear type shaft driven
o Oil tank, fabricated from steel plate, complete of:

2.3 Steam turbine generator control system (STCS)

The proposed STCS based on ABB Symphony Harmony control system will perform the
following controls of the steam turbine:

N. 1 Steam turbine governor (DEHC)


Dedicated stand-alone equipment based on double redundant BRC400 controllers to
performs the following steam turbine control loops:
o Speed control
o Load control
o Main steam pressure control
o RH steam pressure limiter control
o HP exhaust temperature limiter
o Rotor stress evaluator (RSE)
o Low pressure steam pressure control
o Limiters

N. 1 ST Auxiliaries systems and automatic sequences (TRU)


o Automatic Turbine Start Up and shut down sequences (TRU)
o Steam turbine auxiliaries control such as:
Steam seal system
Steam turbine drain system
Steam turbine lube and control oil system
Steam turbine turning gear
o Steam turbine and generator monitoring

N. 1 Turbine Trip system (TTS)


The TTS system will be a separated partition of the steam turbine system. The
critical signal linked to Steam Turbine protection will be wired type for interface with
DCS.

The interfaces between STCS and DCS will be serial link type, using OPC protocol.
