videos and analysing them

problematic nature of using
certain terms (e.g. ethnicity,
race, nation) to frame

about their culture as a
personal observation, and
possibly as evidence of what
they wish others to see about
themselves.
5. Recognize when
misunderstandings may be
the result of stereotyping,
ethnocentrism, essentialising
and prejudice.
I have learnt
I have learnt it thanks to
Everyone has different
perceptions about the things
he/she experiences because they
look at it from their cultural
point of view.
I learnt that besides from the
different cultural views, the
context is also very important
and sometimes cause some
people to make a single story.
These are sensitive topics
because of the things that has
happened before in the history
and I think almost every culture
has experienced it in some
extent.
Theyre still looking at their
culture from their cultural view
and sometimes expect others to
see the same thing, but its not
possible because even 2 people
from the same culture have
different opinions and
perceptions about their same
culture.
I have learnt that sometimes a
misunderstanding can make us
to generalize the issue to the
whole society.

I still have to learn
because
I still have to learn how to deal
with these complexities and
adapt when Im needed to do
so.
I still have to learn about this
item as its a bit confusing for
me. (Now I have to reach the
deadline, but Ill search for that
afterwards)
I need to learn how to deal with
this issue and how to have a
healthy conversation
addressing these maters as they
are very important and they
have to be discussed.
I have to learn how to talk
about my culture without
having influence on it and talk
about my single story!
I have to learn how to avoid
this and be open to knowing
about different cultures and
learning from them.
