Broadlyspeakingtheexamconsistsinanoraltest,takenthesamedaytheex
amisscheduled(orthenextone,oranywaywithintheweektheexamisscheduled).

Dependingonthenumberofpeopleinvolvedintheprocess,studentswhoare
supposedtotaketheexammightberequiredtotakeone (orsometimesmorethan
one)writtenquestions,followedbyanoraltest(oftenthesameday).

Examsdealwiththewholecourse,i.e.allthesubjectscoveredineveryclass,
includingcases,exercises,games,speechesofpractitionersorwhateverelse.

Withinthecourse(duringtheregularsemester),twospecificclasseswillbede
voted respectively to the midtermexamand to the earlybird exam. The outputs of
these classes can be considered as selfevaluation or they can be evaluated on de
mand.Ifyougetapassinggrade(i.e.agradegreaterthanorequalto18outof30)
youwillbegivenafinalmark(usuallytheaveragevalueofthetwomarksprovided
thatbothofthemaregood),whichcouldbeacceptedandrecordedintheexambook.
Recordingmustbeaccomplishedwithinthesession(winterorsummer)justafterthe
endoftheclasses:markscannotbefrozenanylonger.

Should you are willing to improve your mark even once you have a passing
gradeafterthemidtermandtheearlybirdexamyoucananywaytakeanadditional
oraltest.However,thisadditionaloraltestmighteitherimproveorworsenyoursemi
nalmarkorevenitmightresultinapooroverallgrade,whichmakesyouundertake
againtheexam(startingfromscratch).

Seldom,thefinalmarkyouaregivendoesnotmatchtheaveragevalueofthe
midtermgradeandtheearlybirdone.E.g.,16and20usuallydonotleadto18asfinal
grade. Likewise 16 and 30 or even 18 and 30. Rarely, you could be given 18 as final
mark without the opportunity of improving it through any additional oral test. This
meansthatsomethingisnotcrystalclearandtogetmoreyouhavetoundertakea
newexamfromthebeginning(startingfromscratch).

(orall)casestudiesdevelopedalongthesemester,whichentitlesthemtogetanaddi
tional mark (weighted in a similar way as the early bird and the mid term exam) to
formtheirfinalgrade.Teamworkingtohandlecasestudiesiswarmlyrecommended.
