Confirmed and its working for me after 3 days of attempting this!

Got some solutions that may be helpful to you all.

Putting up some info for new readers so you dont need to go through everythi
ng as i did and spend lots of time in this forum and in others.
Special thanks to user Belinassu for all help and effort.
Sharing is caring so everything you do and fix with specially BMW F800S (and
other) bikes should be posted here to the community.
Valve adjustment is specially something i need help with (video or so)
Linking the cables i bought, not neccesary to buy from same users, i waited
for 4 weeks for the KKL cable.
Be just sure that the KKL (VAG 409.1)
My cable thats linked is *ch340 chipset (a cheap clone of fdti// Belinassu),
but still it works Great!
So just find the same type of cables or prefer ft232rl chipset, FTDI FT232RL
chipset are the best, but still the chinese copy works!
Follow the steps carefully
SYSTEM INFO:
Windows 8.1 64 bit(works also with Win 7)
2 ghz, 4 gb memory. (less works also with the software)

Standard Tools setup 2.12
Microsoft .NET Framework 4. 51 (Already included in Win 8.1 if it says that
you need it, then install it)
Hardware:
1. BMW ICOM D Module for BMW Motocycle Diagnose Cable for BMW ICOM 10pin OBD
adapter "Further on called BMW Cable" bought for 30,5 dollars.

1. Order/Buy the cables and when you have them go on to next step. (Dont rus
h because some settings is needed to be correct so get the cables first)
2. KKL cable includes software and drivers but dont install them, the window
s drivers works perfect.
3. Plug in the KKL Cable, USB to your computers usb port. (Let windows self
install them first before going to step 4)
4. Go to Device manager, klick on Start->Control panel and there from go to
Device manager (or Start-> Run-> devmgmt.msc)
5. From Device Manager click on Ports (Com and LPT), You should se every thi
ng you got connected to the USB and COM ports. We are looking for which port the
KKL cable is using.
It should be named "USB-Serial CH340" ComX (X stands for which port its usin
g, mine is Com5), For you it could be something from 1-6. The name of usb kkl ca
ble can be different to mine depending on which cable you got. The important thi
ng to do is to identify your cable.
HARDWARE Done, now we are ready for installing the software
6. Start installing Standard tools set 2.12 (includes Ediabas). Just click n
ext on the steps but be sure to select following instructions. Meanwhile in the
installation it will ask you for settings to use. One is about the interface, wh
ich must be STD:OBD and
7. The installing process will also ask you for which port to use, here you
are selecting the port that the KKL cable uses, (see instruction 5.) the install
ation will also ask about USB Serial hardware, press and click it (like it).
8. When finished with installing Standard tools 2.12, now its time for Rhein
gold 3.41.10 installation.
9. Depending on which source of Rheingold you have start the installation of
Rheingold, it could be by starting BMWRheingoldISTA3.msi
10. Installation takes a while (up to 2 hours or so). If it asks for which B
MW vehicle settings, select BMW Mottorad. It shouldnt ask so just install it.
11. Follow source instructions of how to get Rheingold working, you may be n
eeding license or so on. Just make sure that your Rheingold is valid.
12. Go to where you installed Ediabas (Standard tools 2.12), it should be C:
\EDIABAS\Bin
In the Bin folder you will find a file named obd.ini.
Open the obd.ini file (with notepad or similar) and add the line UBATT=OFF.
In example:
RETRY=ON
UBATT=OFF
;Tracelevel=0xFFFFFFFF
;Tracelevel=0xFFFFFFFF
13. close and save the file (in sameplace, we are just adding UBATT=OFF in t
he file and saving it).
14. This is for Windows 8 users only - > Now go to your Rheingold installati
on folder, it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Rheingold\TesterGUI\bin\Release ,
the file named ISTAGUI.exe is the program for starting Rheingold. Make a shortc
ut of ISTAGUI.exe to a random place, right click on the shortcut and select prop
erties, in the meny select compatibility and from there you have to change compa
tibility to Windows 7. its very important that Our Windows 8 runs this as Window
s 7. Also fill in so you run this as administrator, the setting is selected in t
he same place (you can skip this if you are using Windows 7!!!)
15. Now start your ISTAGUI.exe (Windows 8 users starts it with the shortcut
we made in step 14). If your resolution is messed in Rheingold, change your Wind
ows resolution to 1024x768. Then In Rheingold select settings in the meny on the
top, its the symbol that looks like a wrench.
16. Then "Client settings" and under "Select brand" choose, BMW / Motorrad
Then go to VCI Config and select Ediabas standard settings (Ediabas.ini)
Then click OK and Rheingold automaticly saves your settings.
NOW WE ARE GOOD TO GO TESTING
Make sure to connect your motorcycles battery to some charger, you can do th
is by different types, Din/auxilary socket, or directly connecting your battery.
 17. Your KKL Cable is probably already connected to your PC (very important
to use exactly same USB port as we started this process) KKL Cable connected to
PC, now connect OBD side of the KKL cable to our BMW Cables OBD connection. Now
2 pieces is 1.
18. Locate your motorcycles BMW Diagnostic connector, for examples look at y
our manual.

19.I highly recommend to connect a battery charger to your motorcycle before
going on to next step.
19. When located, pull of the cap closing our connector by twisting the lock
and it easily goes of. Now plug in our BMW Cable, you should feel it when it pl
ugs in a little bit. If its hard finding, just roll the BMW Cable head until you
feel that it connects a little bit. On BMW cable its a "Black key locking ring"
, looks like the cap we pulled off. We have to twist until it completly connects
the cable and locks it.
20. Switch your ingition key to on, on your motorcycle, DONT start the engin
e, its not necessary.
Wait for 15-20 seconds.
21. In Rheingold, click on. Identification, Vehicle selection, Read out vehi
cle data, Start Vehicle identification. NOW WE HOLDING TUMBS THAT EVERYTHING WOR
KS OUT.
22. Rheingold should now read out and give you information about your motorc
ycle if everything worked well. If not retry the "Start Vehicle identification"
and try it 2 more times. IF Everything worked out we are done and you can read a
nd clear fault codes, make brake bleeding circuits and so on.
STILL NOT WORKING?
NEXT STEP ONLY FOR YOU WHO IT NOT WORKED FOR:
23. I believe you got something like
"Unable to identify vehicle.Please check vehicle communication interface and
vehicle ignition (must be set to ON)."
We have some few attempts to work on. Take it easy,
We are testing other USB ports and need to change one line in OBD.INI.
Just keep following instructions.
24. Switch off the ignition to your motorcycle.
25. Unplug the KKL cable USB from PC and connect it to another usb port/slot
.
26. Now we are at a new USB port, so we need to check which. Look in the dev
ice manager (se number 5 in this instructions). and find out which com port we a
re using this time. it should be one of 1-6 com ports.
27. Go to folder C:\EDIABAS\Bin (or to the drive where you installed standar
d tools on) and open OBD.INI. In the beginning of the opened file you will see:
[OBD]
Port=Com(and a number here)
Hardware=USB
RETRY=ON
UBATT=OFF
 28. Add your new com port number to the line above, so if your USB cable now
is connected and you found out that it uses com port 5, then it should be like
this example:
[OBD]
Port=Com5
Hardware=USB
RETRY=ON
UBATT=OFF
29. Close and save the file.
30. Switch the ignition to on, on your motorcycle.
And wait for 15-20 seconds.
31. Start Vehicle identification in Rheingold (see instruction 21. and repea
t two more times if its not working)
32. Now it should be working!!!
STILL NOT WORKING??
Repeat instruction number 23 to 32. BUT NOW EACH TIME TRY with every avaible
USB SLOT till it gets working and have patience. One of your usb ports/slots sh
ould be working!! Good luck!! I got it working with 2 usb ports of 4 on my PC.
EXTRA INFO FOR USERS:
Open the files with notepad or wordpad and so on for changing/adding values
REMOVE POPUP INFO in start of RHEINGOLD
To remove pop up window "USAGE NOTES" change file ISTAGUI.exe.config
after line code:

PRINTING in Rheingold:
To get work Print dialog before printing anything in Rheingold you need do c
hanges in file ISTAGUI.exe.config
change line code:

After this modify in the system registry (regedit.exe) value with address:

REMOVE LANGUAGEPACKS THAT IS NOT NEEDED

For saving HD space:
If you do not need China language and other languages you can delete 2 files
from folder SQLiteDBs:
 xmlvalueprimitive_ZHCN.sqlite and streamdataprimitive_ZHCN.sqlite
This removes China language, if you got theese files there and if you only w
ant it in english you can also remove similar files with names RU (Russian) and
DE (Deutch)
Removing gives plenty of extra HD space but make sure to only remove languag
e packs that you dont need.
