    thedeliverynotenumber.TheinformationistransmittedinanIDocsegmentoftypeE1EDP02,field
    BELNR.
    IfthereisadeliverynotenumberintheIDoc,thesystemusesthisnumbertolookforacorresponding
    goodsreceiptinthepurchaseorderhistory.Ifitcannotfindagoodsreceipt,thesystemcannotprocess
    theIDoc.
    Possiblereasonsfornotfindingthegoodsreceiptinclude:
    DeliverynotenumberintheIDocisincorrect
    Deliverynotenumberwasenteredincorrectlyatthetimeofgoodsreceipt
    Goodsreceiptisnotyetenteredinthesystem(possiblyalreadydeliveredthough)

    Features
    WerecommendthatyouworkwithgoodsreceiptbasedInvoiceVerificationwithdeliverynotenumbers,so
    thatyoucanmatchuptheinvoicecorrectly.
    IfthereisnodeliverynotenumberintheIDoc,thesystemlooksforoneormoresuitablegoodsreceiptsin
    thefollowingorderofpriority:

    Priority Systemfunction Result

    1. Thesystemlooksforopen Thesystemcalculatestheopen
    goodsreceiptsreferringtothe quantityofagoodsreceiptasthe
    purchaseorderitem. deliveredquantityquantity
    alreadyinvoiced .
    Ifthesystemcannotfindanopen
    goodsreceipt,itcannotprocess
    theinvoice.

    2. Thesystemdistributesthe Thesystemselectsanyopen
    invoicequantityamongthe goodsreceipt.
    opengoodsreceipts: Iftheopenquantityofthegoods
    receiptislargerthanorequalto
    theinvoicequantity,thegoods
    receiptisadoptedwiththeinvoice
    quantity.
    Iftheopenquantityofthegoods
    receiptissmallerthantheinvoice
    quantity,thegoodsreceiptis
    adopted.
    Thesystemdistributesthe
    remaininginvoicequantityinthe
    samewayamongtheotheropen
    goodsreceipts.

    3. Thesystemdistributesthe Ifthesystemcannotdistributethe
    remainderoftheinvoice totalinvoicequantity,itchooses
    quantitytoanygoodsreceipt. anygoodsreceipt.Thesystem
    allocatestheremainingquantityto
    thisgoodsreceipt,ifthetotal
    quantityallocatedinthiswaydoes
    notexceedthepurchaseorder
    quantity.
    Otherwise,thegoodsreceiptis
    filledupasfarasthepurchase
    orderquantityandtheremaining
    quantityisdistributedinthesame
    wayamongtheothergoods
    receipts.

    4. Thesystemallocatesthe Ontheotherhand,ifthesystem
    remainderoftheinvoice cannotdistributethetotalinvoice
    quantitytoanygoodsreceipt. quantity,itallocatestheremaining
    quantitytoanygoodsreceipt.

    5. Thesystemallocatesthe
    amounttothegoodsreceipts
    accordingtothequantity.
