Relationship With The US
Relationship
Italy and the US have a strong, friendly relation with each other. Between 1941 & 1943,
The US and Italy were at war against each other. After WW2, Italy has since became a
strong ally. Italy now hosts strong US Military Forces (Air Force, Navy, & Army
Forces). In 1949, Italy became part of the NATO, (North Atlantic Treaty
Organization), which then became allies with the US.
