BOOMERS & MILLENNIALSARE THEY COMPLEMENTARY?

With the passage of time, the determination of reach being happy in life has
changed the "normal" conditions at human development of behaviours and ways
of live. These changes are the principal characteristics of two generation
established thanks to the new world created by the human intelligent; this new
world of scientific advances and technology competitions has an influential
perception on the new meaning of live. We have a problem now, the rivalry
between both generations are expressed in many points of insight. The
perspectives among benefits and harms are given in a discussion topic every
time. In this aspect I want to consider the significant reasons of this division of
people due to new characteristics adopted by them. In this side of the topic the
causes of the division are extremely long and as I say one of the principal reasons
is the happiness, and I want to take center of the topic as the achievement of
happiness, has happiness reaching influenced in the construction of two different
generations along the time?

When I talked about two generations I mean the boomers and millennials, the
distinction between them are inclined to find new form of progress and success.
The innovation of culture, growth, development, has driven the search for their
own original improvements in the field of development. But exist another
generation between them, it is named the x generation, in my feeling it takes
characteristics of both generations, I consider it like a mode of mediation
between the poles: boomers and millennials.

First, I am going to talk about the millennials, called also generation Y,

globalist, G, and so on. They represent a new step for the global work with
different visions and sides where they can search for finding better life modes,
are also considered like opened mind people, they arise getting their own form
of success in life, their visions are more extended and most part of them are
conceptualized by the technology. In other aspect, the center of the futuristic
ideas is product of their mindset, which is so advanced with new views due to the
environment in which it has developed as a person. The changes they produce
when have the insight to a new future for them, and I refer a better and
triumphant future; are based in the environment in which they grew up. Consider
that since 2000 to now, technology and science have gone hand in hand with the
aim of improving the quality of life of human beings and thus advances and
provide an original and innovative future for everyone. And so, it is important to
differentiate that boomers did not have the same opportunities as the millennials.
No one can say millennials are better than boomers; it is nonsense, the difference
in epochs involved in the change and development of a society. The influence of
wars has a lot to do with the behavior of people in that time, certainly the
opportunities before were more scarce than today.
Baby boomers had the custom of being and having a simple life, without
innovation or looking for a change inside their life, in my opinion it is the just
moment for take place in order to work, the representation during the time as a
goal for getting success of earn more and more money. To my mind, people in 60
and 70 had a different view of the world in relation to which we have now;
thoughts were closed and even the opinions followed a limited standard and filled
with several restrictions, so that did not allow them to go beyond their own
barriers.

But actually exist one more generation between boomers and millennials, they
are the x generation, given during 80 and 90, characterized by their ideas to
get ahead succeed and do everything possible to run a profitable work and
conducive to good income for individual benefits; this generation is much more
open than its predecessor, so that is why has shown the best profiles of the
conceptual development and mode of work in the world.

It is certainly true that your parents want the best things for you, and that is why
you go to school, then high school and finally to university. With this statement I
want to refer to the true meaning of life, where is it? Why we go to school? One
reason might be that there you try to be prepared for the adversities that life
presents, and obviously get a good job in future, and the same way earn money.
The society in which we live now is characterized by people who the only target is
to get the best for just one, and I consider it an individualistic way of looking for
you uniquely, worry for you and there is nobody apart of you; the problem comes
when we note for others, and fight for a common good. That requires more
money, spending more, buying more, and then do you really think life is
meaningless? That is the question new generations do every time, is really
important just earn money in any way? For them what matters now is to enjoy
the means by which it reaches the end, then get to the end without having joys
and emotions has no meaning at all in life.

Returning to the main statement, I would like mentioning the next part of life
after school and generally preparations. The next step is looking for a job; now in
this part of the events I might introduce one of the causes of all this separation of
generations: work. It is one of the principal characteristics of boomers and
millennials, the changes effectuated during the time and the recognition like
separated age group. Much of your life and most of it is destined to work,
considered necessary and essential to daily life, in my view if we do not work you
will not have what you want for future. And decreases your dream or possibility of
doing what really makes you happy; and I take the term happiness once more
time, I consider the dream of being happy is the way everybody wants. If I take
place in the side of working, I might state it is not completely difficult, is not an
obstacle for being happy. Since ancient times, working has represented the way
human beings live, how or why they make it, the principal characteristics of the
new world I had described yet. Technology, science, knowledge, in general the
vision of future, I mean in simple words progress, and when I talk about
progress as a word that implicates no only change but rather improvements. It
starts and continues with development, thoughts, and way of life; give us the
particularity of a new generation. I am referring to young millennials.

In addition, are the millennials who shape the world to their liking, they care to
enjoy the life to the fullest, it is important not only to reach the end of something
but how you do it and what is the meaning of do it. It is now where the change
happens and our unique vision to the world is to be passionate about what we do,
somehow achieving the happiness of which I spoke in the beginning. Become
large, in the way of success. They worry about doing all their life what passionate
them in change of boomers who worked only for getting money and survive in
front the difficult moments. They do not mind sharing knowledge with other
generations; their only goal is coming to an end by their own means, they look
for a way to reach fun and a passionate life. On the whole their purpose is to do
what fills them with life and happiness.

In conclusion, both boomers and millennials generations have impacted the world
in characterizing lifestyles and behaviors that somehow or other way, several of
them remain to this day. Boomers, is thanks to them that we have what we have
and what we are, or we have made a criterion of "identity" within the global
context as different cultures and societies in the world. All this heritage of
knowledge and progress from boomers, the desire to work, the formation of a
better world, we owe it to our ancestors. Their perseverance despite adversities
for reaching a better life for their own generation and now I mean x generation
and millennials because these are de descent of boomers; by the way I might
take the place of problems such as war and other issues given in that times. Over
time they have given us an own personality like humans, the differences between
generations comes when we consider the opportunities, advantages and
disadvantages among them, the changes that have taken place over time, helps
us to realize some form of our mistakes as a society, the society that will come in
the future so far unimaginable for the good of people and the world.
