The revisions made from e-DPP Version 2.3.0 to Version 2.5.0 are listed as follows:

Cable Drum Schedule

1. Drum Schedule has been added to Tools menu as a new program.

2. The features and operation details are described in the separate document Drum
Schedule Comprehensive Learning Guide.
3. The major features are as follows:
(1) Full automated scheduling
(2) User defined naming convention of drum numbers
(3) Drum list editor
(4) Drum schedule editor
(5) Export drum schedule to MS Excel
(6) Check data consistency

ETAP Interface

1. Compatible with ETAP/e-DPP interface program Version 2.0.

2. Compatible with ETAP Version 5.5.
3. The major new features are as follows:
(1) Auto-drawing of single line diagram in ETAP new project
(2) Protective devices (CB, fuse, contactor, thermal relay) have been added as
objects of data exchange.
(3) Generator and transformer have been added as objects of data exchange.

Data Import Look-Up Table

1. It is now possible that user specifies the mapping rules of abbreviation codes between
e-DPP internal database and users external file.
2. Mapping rules can be set up in the menu Defaults -> Value List.

Update of Cable Schedule User Specified Conditions

1. It is now possible that user specifies in detail the mapping rules referred to when
creating or updating cable schedule by electrical load list.
2. The new fields required for ETAP/e-DPP interface Version 2.0 have been added.
3. The default value 0 (copper) is substituted into Conductor Type field of LCS, CCR and
Space Heater cables when cable schedule is newly created from electrical load list.

 1. The new template DPPCableETAP for editing cable data has been added for ETAP/e-
DPP interface Version 2.0.
2. The new template DPPXfmrETAP for editing transformer data has been added for
ETAP/e-DPP interface Version 2.0.
3. It is now inhibited to enter 0 values in ContQty, InterQty and SpareQty fields or non-
zero values in more than one of ContQty, InterQty and SpareQty fields simultaneously.

Others

1. In Data Import, the maximum rows of Quick View increased to 65535 from 500.
2. In Data Import, it is now inhibited to import 0 values to ContQty, InterQty and
SpareQty fields or non-zero values to more than one of ContQty, InterQty and
SpareQty fields simultaneously.
3. In Data Import, the problem that %Load is not correctly calculated when a static load is
imported was fixed.
4. In the menu Defaults -> Equipment -> Motor -> Cable, now / can be entered
in Cable Specification -> Size field.
