Georgia High School Graduation Requirements

For Students Entering High School in 2015 and beyond


One English class in each year of high school,
English Language 4 credits
including ^American Literature/Composition (11th grade)
Arts and ^Ninth-Grade Literature and Composition.
Mathematics 4 credits Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and a higher math
The 4th Science unit may be used to meet both the science

Social Studies 4 credits Government (1 semester)
and ^Economics (1 semester)
Students must earn 4 credits, in any combination, from
