To make sure and clear that all the students have understood how to
write letter O. There are main things the teacher should do.

Firstly, ask the kids some questions related to the litter to know if the
student recognizes and know the shape of letter O and write it in right
way.

Secondly, the teacher must use formal assessment (checklist) to take


notes and evaluate each student to know what each student need to learn
of this concept and what they already now.

Thirdly, let all the kids do all the activities even if it is easy or difficult for
some of them to challenge them by encouraging them to think and solve
problems and develop their cognitive development and their thinking.

The kids have different ability to learn, so me as a teacher I must provide


the activity and language it fit everybody in class to understand what I
will say or want through the lesson or activity.

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze
why you think it worked well and what hints you would share with other teachers
about the successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

I found the lesson was interesting when I provide to them a nice activity
that fit with my learning outcomes and my lesson plan.

Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention.


Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred and what action you intend to
take to be more successful in the next lesson.
when I will teach children about any litters, I must give them the instruction
and specific about where they can start to write this litter in right direction
because this second language and they direction write the litter in English is
different with first language in Arabic. According to Keresan theory about
second language acquisition, he says when children in early years make
errors about how to write some letter in wrong direction we need to use the
corrective feedback strategies to correct their errors through visual aids. That
means the teacher support the model of how to write this litter in right way
and explain from where they can start the letter and where is the end of this
letters. Through using this strategy, the child will learn about their errors and
corrected.

Personal focus for next lesson:

Prepare the lesson about Sound the letter in English, and prepare of how to
write this sound in right ways.
