Coming to -Geology & Archaeology of Meghpar - Kutch

Next will be Padiyas from MeghPar and Gadhwari wadi of Meghpar - an ancient civilisation
4200 years old (2200BC) Underground remnant of castle of Haddapan time.with artefacts
found on the site.

And Geological features of River RUDRANI (Rudra Rani) visible Pre-Jurassic layers of sediments
in cliffs of both side of the River.

Compare left side of the river and This Right side of the River - showing each a mirror image of the other
side because these has happened due to the SPLIT of the land (Fault) and later became the RIVER.

Sedimentary layers in RIVER ROCKS of KUTCH From: kutchsciencefoundation@hotmail.com

Dear friends of Geology, History and Science,
Rivers of NAKATRANA - ATTACHED Layari river.JPG Kutch has water flowing river during the whole of
the year in the past. Water flowing marks are left and clearly seen as washed the sedimentary layers of the
rocks of the river. Not Only that, those river beds has crystals of gold as in the past those river water was
washing those gold sedimentary layers. Those river bed though has dried up but still have stones with gold
in their beds. We do find plenty of golden oolights in surrounding hill area and areas of river beds of
adjacent areas.
Tapakeshwari hill layers
Though tapakeshwari hill area is thought to be of Jurassic times. But deeper layers have fossil prints of
Cambrian sea creatures. and upper layers have Jurassic sea animals as well as giant wood fossils over
lapping those layers. How those stage two Fossil layers are fused is not clear.
Though no doubt upper sedimentary layers are younger and have phase two fossils merged with previous
layers and undifferentiated from the older layers, the deeper layers are of older time and may fall under
Cambrian time. Further research is needed by the experts of the respective field to support the findings and
so the permanent Working site to be planned for such research by science with the palaeontologist. Such
work with palaeontologists will put further lights on geology and Kutch formation as at present there were
no palaeontologist settled in Kutch to work in this field but only visiting palaeontologists visited Kutch.
Gunawari River sediments and Fossil river bed in GANGESHWAR DOME of KHATROD hills NEAR
MADHAPAR
Fossilised ripples of river bed seen UNDER the layers of Jurassic time sea animal fossils suggests that The
LAND was out of sea before those MARINE animal fossilisation. So it means LAND of Kutch has gone
under sea waters and came out again and again.
1) KUTCH land was under sea during the Cambrian time and came out as we see the animal fossil prints of
Cambrian marines in deeper layers of TAPAKESHWARI
2) Fossilised ripples of river bed layers under the layers of the Jurassic sea creature fossils suggests that
there were river formation on land in pre Jurassic periods.
3) Land has gone under sea water again in Jurassic times as we see those Jurassic sea creature fossils in
upper layers
4) As that land came out in Jurassic period, in top most layers has good forest on land in cretaceous times
and also we find a cretaceous wood fossil superimposed to marine fossil
RUDRA RANI (RUDRANI - Wild River) AND NAGMATI Rivers of the Kutch
Rudrani river sedimentary layers near NARANPAR BHUJ. ALSO has similar findings on study of deeper
sedimentary layers
Though a wide range of study of sedimentary layers of Kutch has not been done fully and so always need to
reconsider such study time by time. Few years ago I got chance to go deep to the gorge of river of
GADHWARI (please do not get confused/mix with Not the Gunawari river)
And that gave chance to observe deeper and older sedimentary layers of KUTCH Khatrod range. with
surprise to see secretes not seen /studied before.
1) In upper surface layers we see many of Ammonites, Belemnites and bivalves of cretaceous/Jurassic
periods.
2) Deeper layers in the sides of river gorge shows OLDER layers of sedimentation of Triassic Period of The
Mesozoic Era.
3) Bottom layers running in different direction and separated by seismic activity between The Mesozoic Era
and of Palaeozoic period.#
4) So river gorge formation was in post Jurassic Period and the Cretaceous Period
5) Both side sediments are exactly in mirror image showing that the river gorge was formed with great
tectonic activity during this period and make the rift to apart with a vast fault formation during that time. We
are unable to see deepest layers of the river gorge as river bed is full of sand and water.
