APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Please remember to include the following documents in your application.

These should be posted/couried to NUS by the closing date, addressed to Programme
Manager (Research) :

For each programme that you are applying, you should enclose the following :

Application Form
- Print-out of Application Form from online application system
Payment/Proof of Payment
- Print-out of eReceipt (S$50) after successful credit or debit card transaction /
Proof of Citizenship
- Copy of passport preferred /
- Copy of Local identification card with photograph
Copy of University Transcript/Result Slips (with English translation, if applicable)
- Please request your University to send the original/certified true copy document directly
to NUS in a SEALED envelope with its flap bearing the security seal of the University
and the signature of the Registrar or representative (applies to both online and manual
applications)
- Please upload a copy (if available) in the online application system
Degree Scroll /Certificate (original or certified true copy where available)
TOEFL/IELTS and GRE/GATE (if available)
- For online application, please upload a copy where available
- Please request ETS or testing institute to post original score to the department that you
are applying to (applies to both online and manual applications)
Copy of publication(s) or abstract, if applicable

2 Referee Reports
- For online application, referees will provide their comments online. There is no need for
hardcopy letters. Do key in their email contacts accurately
- For manual application, these reports should be sent to the department in SEALED
envelopes whose openings bear the referees signature across it.
