Thecollegeisanorganizationwiththepurposeofimpartingknowledgetothestudentsina
peaceful environment and to enrich their personality by inculcating in them a sense of
responsibility,reason,tolerance,anddiscipline.Disciplineandorganizedlifeinthecollegeis
important;itisthereforeessentialthatrulesandregulationsshouldbelaiddowntoensurean
orderly and decent atmosphere of the college. With this objective in mind, the following
regulationshavebeenestablished.
AttendancePolicy
Nostudentshouldbeeligibleforexaminationwithouthavingattended75%ofthelectures,
demonstrations,tutorialsandpracticalwork.
Minimumattendancetoqualifytositintheexaminationis80%
Attendanceproceduretositinexaminationon75%istopayfine5,000/
Attendanceproceduretositinexaminationon70%istopayfine10,000/
Ifattendanceislessthan70%willnotpermittedtositinthefinalexamination.
ActsofIndiscipline
Among others, the following shall constitute acts of indiscipline recognizable under these
regulationsagainstwhichactioncanbetakenbythedisciplinarycommittee.
MinorOffences
Cominglate.
Absencefromclasstest.
Violation of morals, such as the use of indecent language, undesirable remarks and
gestures, disorderly behavior for example abusing quarrelling, fighting and insolence
towardsfellowstudents,facultyandstaff.
Indulgenceinactswhichmaycauseinsultorphysicalinjurytothestudents,teachers,
officers,staffofthecollege.
Defianceofcollegeauthorityanditsrules.
Violationofrulesspreadingofinappropriateinstigatorremarksregardingreligiousor
regionallinguisticethicsinwritingorverbally.
Impersonationorgivingfalseinformationorwillfulseparationofinformationorcheating
ordeceiving.
Absencefromclasswithoutapplication/permission.
Useofmobilephoneinclassisstrictlyforbidden.
Majoroffences
Incitingviolence,useofforce,destructionofcollegeproperty.
Making speeches, shouting slogans or circulation of printed or cyclostyled or
photocopiedmaterial/EmailderogatorytoIslam,Pakistan,theprestigeofthecollegeor
malignsthereputationofitsfacultyorstaff.
Saleanddistributionofintoxicantsatthecampusdirectlyorindirectly.
Indulgenceinpolitical/ethnic/racialactivityoruseofstudentsforfurtheringthecauseof
politicalparties.
Useofunfairmeansinexaminations.
Abstractingthefunctionofthecollegeorcausingdisruptionofteaching/research/other
activities.
Smokingincollegepremises.
Photography/videomakingincollegepremiseswithoutseekingpermission.
Minorpunishments
Awarninginwriting.
AfineofRs.100/forabsencefromoneclass/practical/.
AfineofRs.500/forremainingabsentfromcollegeforoneweekwithoutinformingto
concerndepartments.
AfineofRs.500/fornotwearinguniform.
AfineofRs.30005000/forotheroffence(s).
Majorpunishment
The following major penalties shall be imposed on the recommendations of the Discipline
Committee;
FinewhichmayamountuptoRs.10,000/
Suspensionorrusticationfromthecollegeforonemonth.
Expulsionfromthecollege.
Nonconfermentofdegree/transcript.
StandardOperatingProcedure(SOP)forPersonalGrooming&UniformStandards
Students shall maintaina very high standardof personal appearance and shall adhere to the
uniform
Regulationsasdetailedintheserules.
In addition to wearing the specified uniform the students shall comply with the following
standards:
Females
Face Discreetmakeup.
Uniform Neatlypressed.Cleanandwellpresented.
Jewelry Weddingand/orengagementringsonly.Smallearrings

Males
Hair Short,Neatlycombedandconservativelystyled
Hands Clean,wellmanicurednails.

UNIFORMPOLICY
Allstudentsshallwearappropriateuniformsasspecifiedbelowatalltimeswhilstoncampusor
attendingoffcampusactivities.Lecturersmayexcludestudentsfromclassactivitiesincaseof
inappropriate /incomplete uniform. Furthermore, a fine of Rs. 300/ will be imposed and
absencewillbemarked.

NOTE:
1. Every batch OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT and CULINARY ARTS has its CR
chosen by themselves on votes. Any issue/problem or offense/misconduct by
the students shall be reported to the respective CRs.
2. CR (class representatives) is responsible to communicate the problem or any
discrepancies to the management and concerned head in FORMAL
documentation.
3. Problems, applications suggestions or any query shall only be entertained in
written form.
4. A Student can extend his/her course from a shorter course to longer course
but cannot do vice versa.
