Henry Schein offers theoretical-practical courses CAD / CAM and

GESDEN G5 In the Association of Hygienists of Catalonia (AHIADEC)

Madrid, April 27, 2017 - Henry Schein Spain is collaborating recently with the Association of
Hygienists of Catalonia, AHIADEC, to provide training activities to its associates.

Henry Schein is aware that the technology is in constant evolution and development and
therefore also has to adapt the training methods so that dental professionals are familiar with
the digital transformation that is being established in the dental clinic. Therefore, it is
important to apply new technological processes, such as management software. The
GESDEN G5 program is specially designed for the management of dental clinics and is
essential in most of them. The course of GESDEN G5 allows to acquire ample knowledge to
carry out functions in the administrative scope. In addition, the courses help dental hygiene
professionals learn the terminology of the GESDEN G5 management software from Infomed,
a company of the Henry Schein group and one of the leading dental healthcare software
developers in Spain.

In addition, Henry Schein will also offer CAD / CAM training. The objective of the intraoral or
CAD / CAM scanning course is to cover the different configurations of CAD / CAM that exist
in both clinical and laboratory as well as the different ways of transmitting the information with
them. One of the advantages of CAD / CAM technology for both the patient and the
professional is that it significantly reduces the number of visits for diagnosis and subsequent
oral treatment. The attendees will be able to test, first hand, the intraoral capture as well as
the data shipments to the cloud.

"We are very pleased to be able to contribute to the training of dental hygienists and
introduce them to key issues on new technologies. We want to share with them our
commitment to innovation in the field of oral hygiene, "says Juan M. Molina, Managing
Director of Henry Schein for Spain and Portugal.

The different courses are planned for the months of May, September, October and November
at the AHIADEC headquarters in Barcelona, where they will have all the necessary materials
to carry out this training, as well as qualified personnel in these subjects who will also offer
practical In situ and will answer all the doubts raised by the attendees.
