    ThisisthetimetableforGrade10mothertonguelanguageandliterature.Pleasenotethatweoperateona
    twoweekrotatingtimetablesoitisnotthesameeveryweek.Wearecurrentlyinweekone(todayis
    Wednesdayday3).Allthelessonsare85minslongexceptforFridayswherethelessonsare50minutes.The
    totaltimeforonefortnightis390minutes(6.5hours).Ithinkitisnotreasonableordesirableforyoutobe
    tutoringoverskypeallthattime.ImmyopinionisisbetterforyoutoprovideRisyawithsomeworktodo
    independentlyforsomeofthistimeandsupportthisthroughoneortwoskypesessionsaweek.Theschool
    timetableisnotflexiblesoiftheskypesessionsaretobedoneduringschooltimetheywillneedtobedone
    duringthesetimes.(*asImentionedthisdoesnotmeaneverylesson).Hopefullysomeofthesetimeswill
    notcoincidewithyourcurrentcommitments.Ifyouneedtopostpone/changeasessionyouwillneedto
    negotiatethatwiththefamilydirectly.

    Intermsofresources,thatisuptoyoutoprovideRisyainanyformatthatyouthinkisappropriate.Ihave
    attachedtheMYPlanguageandliteratureguideforyoutohavealookat.Itisaquiteaflexiblecurriculum
    basedonconcepts.Youshouldbeabletouseresourcesthatyouwouldliketoworkwithandlinkitinwith
    thekeyandrelatedconceptsinthecurriculum.

    Iwillbeabletohelpandsupportyouwithcurriculumandassessment.Intermsofpaymentandhowmany
    hoursaweekyouwilltutorwillbeuptoyoutonegotiatewiththefamilydirectly.Theschooldoesnotpay
    forthemothertongueprogram,itisauserpayssystemandthefamilypaysfortheservice.Thereforthe
    schoolwillnotbeprovidinganypaymentsothisneedstobenegotiatedwiththefamilyintermsofhow
    muchandhowtheywillpayyou.

    1.CreditHourPerSession

    IhavebeenexplainedbyRisyaandMrs.SusiethatIhavetoheldthetutoringthreetimesperweek,
    inwhicheverysessionshouldbewithin80minutes.Thus,Ineedfurtherexplanationregardingon
    specificationforeachsession.Forexample,howmanyhoursshouldbespentonlecturing,
    discussingassignmentsandexplainingnotes.AndIneedaconfirmationregardingontheformatof
    thenotesgiven.Isthatokayformetogivingnotesinvariousformataslongasitisguidedbythe
    syllabusandcanbesupportedthroughskypevideoconferencing?

    2.TimeFlexibility

    Aswhathavebeenexplainedtoyou,IamworkinghereasateacherandIamdoingthistutoring
    sessionasaparttimer.Ifullyunderstoodthetutoringsessionshouldbeheldthreetimesperweek.
    Unfortunately,ifanurgentmatterarise,howcanweinbothpartyclearlyagreeduponthismatterin
    awinwinsituation?MayIpostponethesessiontoanotherfreedaytocompletethecredithoursorit
    willcausedeductioninpayment.
