A Quality Assurance/Control Engineer with 4+ years experience in Oil/Gas field. Recently
acquired Masters in Petroleum Engineering (2015-2016) and looking for flexible job
opportunities including Piping/Structural Inspection, well operations/production, completions,

Employment History:
Lamprell Energy Ltd, UAE (2012-2015)
QA/QC Engineer
Check the Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Record (QR) derived from pre-project
planning in accordance with ASME sections to fulfil the requirements of client job
specifications.
Leading a team of NDT technicians and production department to efficiently carry out the
job as per relevant international standards and project specifications.
Field experience with intensive documentation and reporting jobs in a wide range of
projects including refinery maintenance works, rig refurbishments, wellhead and PUQ
construction, self- propelled jack up vessel / Super 116E jack up rigs, land rig mud tank
systems, gas plant maintenance works and a number of pipeline works.
Adapt quickly to revised project scopes/schedules by the planning department and
efficiently coordinate with production/project team in supervising assembly and ensure
quality.
Coordinate with design department to resolve piping design issues including inadequate
supports, improper valves/flanges and field feasibility.
Review weld map, isometric and engineering drawings (P&IDs).
Calculating the design/test pressure required and confirming the piping material used.
Responsible for material inspection and preparing quality assurance reports.
Coordinate mechanical installation activities, sub-contractors inspection activities, prepare
and update daily NDT and repair status.
Organize and review mechanical package/hydro-test package and releasing for final testing.
Conduct pressure leak test using different mediums as per the ASME/Client specifications.
Experienced with inspection of liquid/powder coating, thermal spray aluminum/zinc
(TSA/TSZ), passive fire protection (PFP), galvanizing and thermal insulation.
Proficient in inspection of various insulation systems such as Rockwool, foam glass,
calcium silicate, phenolic foam, PIR/PUR, Perlite, ULVA etc.
Conducting tool box talks to production personnels and NDT technicians on several
subjects including Confined space entry, Working at heights, Lockout tags and safety tags
etc.
Well experienced with conventional over-pressure relief system.

Major projects conducted for Emirates National Oil Company, Hercules Offshore, Petrofac,
Nexen, Seajacks, Jindal, Arabian Drilling Company and Sharjah National Oil Company.

Completed an individual project Effects of axial loads on the burst and collapse ratings of a
well casing.
