Kriyayoga Meditation Is The Real

Practice Of Gayatri Mantra

As Understood from teachings of Guruji Swami Shree Yogi Satyam

All over the world, there are many who practise the chanting of
Gayatri Mantra in the style of repeated chanting of some sanskrit
words. A mantra, as generally understood, is a collection of words
suitably arranged in a sequence to bring about a positive desired
effect on the person chanting. However, simply by repeatedly
chanting some words, this effect is limited and incomplete.

Any thought, idea or technique which removes blindness of mind

is known as mantra. With practice of mantra, blind mind is
transformed into awakened mind (intuition). Blindness of the mind
cannot be removed by simply chanting the words of the mantra.
To illustrate this point more clearly, let us take the example that we want to be an
engineer. By taking a course in engineering, we can become an engineer. After spending
five years studying the course of engineering, we will become a good engineer. We
cannot become an engineer by simply chanting engineering...engineering... In the
same way, the Gayatri Mantra highlights the technique that we have to practise.

The Gayatri Mantra is as follows:

AUM BHOOR BHUWAH SWAHA,

TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASAYA DHEEMAHI
DHIYO YO NAHA PRACHODAYAT.

In the Gayatri Mantra, the names of three heavens

(Swargas) - Bhulokh , Bhuvarlokh and Swarlokh
are mentioned. These heavens along with four
others - Maharlokh, Janalokh, Tapolokh and
Satyalokh are found in the seven knowledge
centers that are present in the brain and spinal
cord region. In the practice of the Gayatri Mantra,
we have to place our concentration in the brain
and spinal cord to connect with the powers of the
heavens. Placing concentration in the brain and spinal cord, seeking Infinite power
within, is the real practice of Gayatri Mantra, also known as the practice of Kriyayoga
Meditation. In the practice of Kriyayoga, we concentrate in the brain and spinal cord
region to become connected with the infinite power of the seven heavens within.
Therefore, Kriyayoga Meditation is the real way of practising Gayatri Mantra.

When we place our concentration within the head and spinal cord, we first become
tuned with the power of Gayatri. Because the power of Gayatri is the first power that
we connect with by the technique of concentration on the head and spinal cord, the
name of the technique is called Gayatri Mantra. As we go deeper into the practice of
the technique, we become connected with the second power of Savitri. On further
deeper practice, we become connected with the third power of Saraswati. When we
attain the power of Saraswati, we will know how to create our body. As well, we will
know how to change our bones and skin. Without having the ability to create our body,
we cannot claim that we have mastered the practice of Gayatri Mantra.

Any thought, idea or technique which removes blindness of mind is known

as mantra. With the practice of mantra, the blind mind is transformed into
awakened mind (intuition). Kriyayoga practice removes the blindess of mind.
Therefore, the practice of Kriyayoga is essentially the real form of mantra.
