- Students will able to identify the sound j at the beginning of words.
- Students will able to say words beginning with the sound j ( Jaguar, Jeans, Jam
Jar, Jungle)
- Students will able to recognize the letter j at the beginning of words ( Jaguar,
Jeans, Jam, Jar, Jungle)

Lesson Schedule
Targeted teacher language: Good Morning students, how are you? , thank you , firstly, I
will give each student a card with letter and I will ask you question about the letter, I
will show video about the lesson , you should discover what is the lesson about , Jagua
jeans, jam, jar, jungle, say it again, repeat with me,
Student language: Good Morning teacher, Im fine , thank you, Jaguar, jeans, jam, jar,
jungle
Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:
- Firstly, I will give each student one letter ( A, B, C, D, E, F,G,H, I, J, K,
L).Each group will have about 4 or 5 letter depend on the number of
students in each group. Then, I will choose letter randomly and ask
the student how has this letter to come in the middle of the class and 15 mins
jump then answer my questions. I will ask two questions. The first
question is what is the sound of the letter that you have? The second
question is give me a word with the letter that you have. If the student
in the group answers the two question correctly I will put one star for
a group that the students in it.
- Secondly, I will show the students a video about the lesson

students what is the lesson about? What is the name of the letter?
What is the sound of the letter?

Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):


- I will give a clay for each student and students should make the
capital J and the small case j.
- I will show a PowerPoint about the lesson that has the new words
( Jaguar, jeans, jam, jar, jungle) with the pictures and explains each 20 mins
word for the students. Firstly, I will show the picture for the students
and ask them what can you see? If any group answers I will give the
group who answer a smile stacks. If they not, I will show the word and
ask them to repeat and do the same thing for all five words. After that,
I will ask the students to repeat the words more than one time to let
them save the words.
- Next activity in that I will have the words with the picture in flash
cards ( Jaguar, jeans, jam, jar, jungle). Each student will have one
flash card with word and picture. Then, when read the word student
should rise the word that I read. Each group will have almost all words
that they are take in the lesson.
Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment): 10 minute
- I will show PowerPoint have the words ( Jaguar, jeans, jam, jar, jungle)
and each word will have pictures and students should match the word
with the correct picture to see if students understand the lesson or
not. I will give a smile stacks for the student who will answer that.
