Agent Orange Dioxin
Agent Orange is a chemical that
was used by the US government
in the Vietnam War. Agent
Orange was sprayed between
1962 and 1971 to defoliate forest
areas that might conceal Viet
Cong and North Vietnamese
forces and destroy crops.

Ngo Luc

Ngo Luc, a 67 year old who served with a


North Vietnamese Guerrilla unit in the Central
Highlands during the Vietnam War.

The next day the leaves wilted and within a


week the jungle was bald

Lauren Curry

Lauren has an Atrial Septal Defect;


a disorder that was caused by her
fathers exposure to Agent Orange
during the Vietnam War.

Tu and his mother Luu Thi Thu

Tu was born in 2008 and suffers


from a rare blood condition. He
requires regular blood
transfusions and has defied his
doctors prediction that he would
not live past 3.

If there hadn't been a war and


the americans hadnt sprayed
dioxins and chemicals into this
area, we wouldnt be suffering

James Austin Clifford

James suffered from Agent Orange related


Spina Bifida. He died at 34.

Wars create consequences that impact generations
upon generations. Agent Orange is just one example
of long lasting effects wars have caused.
