This hospital provides services free of cost with full financial support from Govt.
of India, Dept of AYUSH. Poor patients are provided free consultation, medicines,
food and clothing in this hospital. Our Hospital is having the support of well-
qualified physicians & surgeons and provides specialized treatment procedures
of
Ayurved like:
Panchakarma
Ksharasutra
Kriyakalpa
Agnikarma & Leech therapy
Old age care (Rasayana)
Reproductive health care (Vajikaran)
Anti-natal, Postnatal and obstetric care
Child health care and neonatal care
A fully equipped Panchakarma wing of hospital provides various types of
massages, fomentation, Vamana, Virechana, Vasti, Nasya, Shirodhara, Pizichil etc
procedures. The hospital has fully equipped with operation theatre and maternity
room.
Other than regular services, this hospital provides extension services like in-
service training programme, Rural Health Services etc.
Our Institute has established satellite clinics as part of research activities.

Panchakarma
The O.P.D.s provide medical examination, counselling and available medicines at
free of cost.
The hospital provides facilities of x- ray & sonography to the O.P.D. patients at
nominal rates where as it is free of cost for the indoor patients.One of the first
and one its own project has been started as Niramaya Grama Yojana (Disease
Free Village Scheme).
Tapovan research centre has been started on dated 9/9/2014 at Gulabkunverba
Ayurved Chikitsalaya, Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar by the collaboration
with children's University, Gandhinagar. The main AIM of services are 1.
Researches in the eugenics and 2. Guidance and education of pregnant mothers
for giving birth to the best of the children.

International Center for Ayurvedic Studies

Introduction :
To coordinate the academic activities related to foreign students studying at
Gujarat Ayurved University and to provide exclusive information to foreign
nationals, an International Centre for Ayurvedic Studies was established in 1999.
This centre coordinates the admission of foreign nationals in various short term
and long term courses and provide technical and administrative support to the
students. At present five batches of students are studying in BAMS course at
Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved Mahavidhyalaya. ICCR is sending students to
study Ayurveda at various courses at this University.
Courses :
1.Certificate Course in Panchkarma : Duration is six months/year. Eligibility is
Degree holders of Ayurveda/Modern medicine/Traditional System of Medicine in
concerned foreign country.

2. Certificate Course in Ksharasutra : Duration is six months/year. Eligibility is

degree holders of Ayurveda /Modern medicine/Traditional System of Medicine in
concerned foreign country.

3. Introductory course in Ayurveda: Duration is three months. Eligibility is

scholars/professional having medical background.

This centre is also organizing tailor-made short term courses for WHO Fellows
being sponsored by SEARO at New Delhi.

Since inception till date total 88 foreign students have attended the long-term
courses conducted through this center at various institutes of the University and
119 foreign students have attended the short-term courses.
