The best choice in English is available in the form of Lal Kitab tran
slated b y Goswami and Vashishta and published by Sagar Publications. It is most
ly a tran slation of 1952 edition with some additions from 1939 edition. It is a
well proo fread and neatly printed. Right now, it is the best (and probably onl
y) choice a vailable for English readers. Though, in my opinion, the quality of
translation is not very good and so this book must be used in conjunction with a
ny other boo k. 2. Lal Kitab (The Exposition & Background) by Pt. Krishna Ashant
. It is not the recommended book by experts. But as not many options are availab
le, it is not a bad idea to take help of this book. Mr. Ashant has left out many
important topic s without which you will find yourself guessing. Also he has cr
eated few of his own hypotheses that may or may not be true. These three books a
