Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am interested in applying for the position of English Teacher (TBIS-TEA-02477) as advertised on your British
International School Abu Dhabi website. As a Bachelor of Education student who is expected to graduate in May
2017, from the Higher Colleges of Technology (Ras Al Khaimah Womens Campus) I am a highly trained
educational professional, I earned a band 6 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). My
strongest assets are my abilities to establish a positive learning environment for my students, collaborate with my
peers in syllabus planning, implementation of a variety of teaching approaches and strategies. These, along with
my other areas of expertise, would enable me to be a positive asset to your school.

The nature of my work in teaching practice experiences has prepared me for this position. I have taught English
to Primary and Preparatory grade classes based on British curriculum. I have enhanced students vocabulary
development through games and cooperative learning. I faced some challenges along the way, such as
mainstreamed classrooms and I overcame these challenges by developing an Individual Educational Plan (IEP).

A key part of my career is helping students reach their potential, which I worked towards by focusing on
preparing learning materials that suited individual students needs when teaching. I have successfully employed
differentiation strategies when teaching and found that this led to many positive student learning academic
outcomes, such as improving grades.

Your school also strives to engage students in outdoor learning experiences. I have a wealth of experience
collaborating with a team in preparing outdoor related activities to create a positive learning environment. I
would love to integrate these kinds of experiences into my lesson plans at your school. As part of this, I have
developed student-centered and inquiry-based learning tasks. The impact of this approach overall has motivated
and encouraged students to develop critical thinking skills.

It is my goal to combine my range of teaching experiences with my expertise that makes me a teacher who will
make positive contributions to your school. I would welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your
earliest convenience. Feel free to contact me at (050) 845 3800 or Noora.Albraiki@outlook.com.

Thank you for your time and careful consideration of my skills and commitment.

Sincerely,

Noora
