The chapter shows the steps how to operate


system by Single Line Telephone Set as well
as through computer software
1.1 Before Operation

What Kind of Telephones You Can Use With Our PBX

You can use Miracall Key Telephone Set to program and work with this PBX.
Can use any brand Single Line Telephone Set to program and work with it

Remarks: Use Miracall SDMR Software,you can also program this PBX,also
the software has accounting function as well as hotel features.

Attention
1. Make Sure the Power Supply is 220VAC or 110VAC Before Connection.

2. The Hybrid Ports Mean This Port Can Connect Miracall Key Telephone,Also
Can Connect Single Line Telephone.

The extension call to other extension.

Extension no. : It means original extension numbers 8001,8002,8003 ~8128 ,or the
new numbers that you have modified;

In system factory status, User pickup handset and hear the intercom dialing tone.
If dial 0, then it will route to external dialing mode, user can still use * to switch
to intercom mode.

Call to the busy extension can be forwarded to second extension.

1.2.5 Abbreviation Dialing

Intercom status, you can conveniently use 2- digit number to make outside call.

1.2.6 Walking Account Calling

You can use 2-digits as account number to make outside call. Making call at different
extension, the calling logs or billing list will be only related with the account.

1.3.6 DISA 1-digit Nevigate

In Auto-attendant mode, Caller only dial 1-digit ,such as 1 2 ... 8 9,then the call
will route to the desired extension number. You can only dial 2 for Sales Department, dial
3 to Service, etc.

Remarks: the digit of Nevigate number can NOT SAME with first-digit of Extension.
If keep on Off-hook, You can continue to input code in System Program mode.

1.3.7 Auto-Fax Detection

In Auto-attendant Mode, PBX can realized the incoming Fax signal and automatically transfer
this fax call to desired Fax extension (ABCD). Fax Machine need to be in auto receiving mode.

1.3.8 ACD Queuing Ringing

In Operator-attendant Mode, Incoming calls can be ringing at 8pcs different extensions,


in Queuing mode, until the call being picked up. If all Extensions busy then the call will
be on hold.

1.4.1 Call Transfer

Call Transfer

You can transfer the conversation to other extension party.

Flash Hook-switch Input Extension n umber on-hook

After flash the hook-switch, the Caller party will hear Music-on-holding.

You can dial R or FLASH key to transfer the conversation;

If destination extension do not pick up the call ,within 25seconds, the conversation
will be back again .

You have to regulate the Flash time if the line will be cut off when transfer.

You can hold on the conversation with CO Line party and retrieve it.

2.1 Before System Program

Following is the steps which should be pay attention by users before Program.

What kind of phone set I can use for System Program ?

You can use any brand or any type of regular phone set.

Which extension port I should connect for System Program ?

Only extension port 8001.

What should be attentioned during the Program ?

1. You can continue to input the code without on-hook, with starting of * and end
with # . If program wrong then can input * to re-start the wrong program;

2. After finish Program, you will hear 1 single beep du which means correct, if you
hear du-du-du then the Program is incorrect.

3. All extension should stop operate and not allow any connection with Outside Line
port or extension port. Otherwise the Program maybe failed.

How to Login into System Program status ?

*12 L # : L = 1,2,3 means you can record total 3-level message for the PBX, including
welcome message, when busy message, no-answer message.

Total message duration is 30seconds, 15s for level 1, 8s each for level 2 and 3;
It will auto-cover the old message if you try to record again.
