Statement of Purpose

An infinite number of rapid developments and discoveries have thrown out the need of computers and
networking skills. As in todays view, both computer and networking are not exactly same things so to
combine their studies and to get outcome of both categories from a single person I have chosen to study
BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (COMPUTER SYSTEMS & NETWORKING) as it is a mixture of
both computer and networking studies. I belong to a business family so becoming a business man like
my forefathers was always my dream but time to time when I realized that the business work is also
being operated by computers, I started finding a course which could teach me the ways about how to
automate our manual business operations through computer systems. That might enable us to expand our
forefathers business through binding all the branches/offices data through formulation of professional
computer networks.Moreover; I personally have a very strong interest towards IT.

I have done my matriculation in science subjects with A+ grade in 2013 from a well known institute
named as Army Burn Hall College Abbottabad. I have passed my intermediate FSC in Pre-engineering
in 2015 from Punjab College Sheikhupura. I have completed my two months Diploma in computer
foundation from Google College in Dec 2015 with A+ grade. I applied admission in Jan 2016 for
Diploma with Bachelors I got my Confirmation of enrollment on 11th April, 2016 now I am applying for
visa processing for June intake my Diploma Classes starts from 29 th June end on 31st Dec 2017 and
Bachelors classes starts from 26th Feb 2018 till 31st Dec 2019.

Since, from the beginning of my study career Ialways took interest in computer, networking and
technological things which facilitate people with alot of ease in their difficult works.I was also
impressed by my father's skills and wanted to be of any help that could ease things on him. With time it
dawned on me that learning computer and technology could be the best thing to automate the family
business and bring efficiency. There are many universities which are offering similar related course in
Pakistan too, but with limited seats and low quality education than Australia. That's why I have chosen
to study abroad.

I could have opted for Canada, USA, UK or any other developed nation but the reason behind
choosingAustralia is the perfect climate, ideal student friendly environment and a great multicultural
society. Moreover Australia is welcoming more International students than any other country in the
world. In Australia, Iwill be able toshare my classroom with pupils from different countries and share
the learning experiences.

Furthermore as per my research It is globally ranked 3rd in providing quality education to international
students. Its libraries are best in the world. It is the 2 nd liveliest country as per global research. There are
75% literate people in Australia and it is a nation where 90% people are English Speaking so I will not
have any problem regarding communication as well. The most important factor is that Australian Degree
is that its highly acceptable in the world. The universities are world class and it shows from the faculties
present at the universities. The research and amount of work done in all fields especially Information
Technology is commendable. Outside the academics, Australian multicultural communitys warmth and
the sense of openness for international communitieshas also highly impressed me.
I have selected Australia for my choice and as my personal interest as I got really excited after searching
so much. Firstly, the country is itself so attractive, calm and peaceful that it would be ones personal first
preference to be there. Secondly, the colleges and universities there are so highly ranked and well
reputed that could satisfy a student to its will. Australia could be the best choice for any aspiring student.

Perth is one of the very sophisticated and multicultural cities in Australia. It is the capital of Western
Australia and fourth largest city of Australia.Moreover, weather of my country is generally quite warm
so it was my preference to live in a city where weather is not so cold. I will feel more comfortable in
Perth rather than some other city. Life in Perth will make me more strong, professional and responsible
as an individual. I just dont want to have degree in fact I completely want to groom my personality and
choosing Perth will have very huge impact. Overall I think that I would not be having any kind of
survival issues there. The people there are so helping and friendly by nature as I have searched and heard
over the internet and other media, I feel that would be my right choice. It has many facilities and better
transportation system as well. I am pretty confident with my decision as Perth is identical to my
requirements.

Curtin University is known to be one of the best institutes in Australia having a great number of students
applying every year because of its friendly atmosphere and modern techniques based methods of
education there. Students find studying there fulfilling and convenient because of amazing teaching
atmosphere provided there. It provides perfect balance of theoretical and practical knowledge aswell.
The faculty there is highly venerable and their alumni are among the most satisfied and proudest of their
alma mater.

I have chosen DIPLOMA OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY

(COMPUTER SYSTEMS & NETWORKING) as my keen interest is in this course. This course will
help me a lot in future in my relevant field to get superb success by getting recognized foreign degree
from a reputed institute of Australia.

comprehensive view of the industry. I can also develop skills in network design and management,
computer hardware and software, real time system and IT technical support.

My Father is sponsoring me for my complete education in Australia. He is a landlord and a successful

business man in town. He is earning a pronounced income on monthly basis from the production of his
agricultural land, rental property and a business partnership. The supporting documents are attached with
my application. My family has pledged all forms of support for my studies and is excited to learn about
my plans as this would benefit our family business and let me fulfill my personal goals too. The
education comes prior for my family and they are happy to invest in me as it is going to be of great value
to the generations old business we own.

I would like to join my fathers business and contribute towards transition of its old fashioned manual
culture to a corporate level by utilizing computer and networking related skills which will be absorbed
by me during my studies in Australia. Pakistan has become a strong software powerhouse which is well
documented and to keep it that way, it needs competent young professionals. A foreign degree is deemed
worth a lot in terms of both experience and financial gains and considering the consumption demands, I
am sure to find a decent spot among respectable organizations here once overhauling family business is
done.

In the end, I would like to ascertain that I have a firm believe that a professional degree in Diploma with
Information Technology and Bachelor of Technology Computer System and Networking from Curtin
College and University will not only help to acquire knowledge and skills in the IT and Networking field
but an international outlook and reputation too.

After the completion of my degree from Australian University, I plan to return back to Pakistan and
work with my father Business. Pakistan is still a growing market and we have tremendous opportunities
to grow in the information technology sector enabling a prosperous opportunity for young information
system entrepreneurs.
