AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

I, JOENALYN MAE G. GALANG, of legal age, Filipino, single and a resident of

Bonifacio 8th , Digos City, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law,
depose and state:
1. That I am the same person that caused this affidavit;

2. That on September 5, 2016 at around 5:00 in the afternoon I was also in a

Beauty Salon in Bonifacio 8th, Digos City the place where accused Rolanda Stoney
Dela Rosa was arrested;

3. That at the times of the arrest I was having my pedicure also in the above-
mentioned salon and I am situated near the door;

4. That when accused Rolanda Stoney Dela Rosa was talking with her friends
after several minutes two unidentified men in civilian clothes on board a motorcycle
suddenly stopped outside the salon and one of them went inside and asked the accused
for a direction as to where is the hollow block factory;

5. That another man then alighted from his motorcycle and secretly told the
accused, to quote JUST DONT RESIST MY FRIEND, WE ARE POLICE OFFICERS
then he handcuffed both hands of the accused and inserted a pack of white crystalline
substance to his pocket;

6. That the policemen then brought the accused outside the Beauty Salon and they
headed to the other end of the street going Mabini Street;

7. That I was able to see that it was a white crystalline substance because I was
very near them when the alleged buy-bust operation transpired;

8. That I executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts and
to support the dismissal of the criminal case against Rolanda Stoney Dela Rosa for
violation of Section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165.
