Ed Khan

Ed Khan has 34 years of experience in the area of system studies, relay protection, project and product management.
Currently he is with Doble Engineering Company working as a Director of Training and R&D.

Prior to Doble, Mr. Khan has worked for GE, ABB, SEL, KEMA and others in various capacities. He has 34 years of experience
in system studies, protection applications, relay design, power plant design, and product management.

He has a thorough knowledge about product development, protection, harmonic analysis, harmonic filter design, stability
studies, real time digital simulations, generator, motor protection and more. He has presented courses on behalf of GE and
Doble in US and overseas. These courses were presented to utilities and industrial customers in Southeast Asia, Middle
East, Mexico, India and China.

Mr. Khan is a member of CIGRE WG 5.56 that is working on Optimization of Protection, Automation, and Control Systems. He
has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Texas A & M University
