Excavate inspection pits to expose the underground utilities, Mobilize drilling rigs and drilling equipment to site. Set up drilling rig at drillhole position. Drilling operations: (a) Sink P/FUN size casing vertically by rotary drilling method with foam as flushing medium, () For soil Take soil samples and carry out in-situ tests at specified depth in drillhole until rockhead or specified depth is achieved. (© For Boulder/Cobbles/Dedrock: Use T2-101/TNW double tube core barrel to drill through boulder/ bedrock layers and obtain rockcores. When meet the termination criteria or upon receiving Engineer’s instruction to terminate drilling, install instrumentation (if any), extract all casings and backfill with cement grout and reinstate finished surface to its original condition.
