MUTH students must take at least 11.5 hours from the following menu of courses:
MUS-100 Music Fundamentals (3)
MUS-110 Introduction to Music (2)
MUS-113 Voice Class (2)
MUS-116 Piano Class I (2)
MUS-117 Piano Class II (2)
MUS-118 Keyboard Skills I (1)
MUS-119 Keyboard Skills II (1)
MUS-121 Elementary Theory (3)
MUS-140 Private Applied Keyboard (1,2,3)
MUS-145/345 Applied Voice (4-required)
MUS-167 Musical/Opera Production (.5-1 may be repeated)
NOTE: A grade of C- (1.7 on a 4.0 scale) or higher is required in all courses applying toward the Theatre Major
(Concentration in Music/Theatre).
NOTE: The Theatre major (Concentration in Music/Theatre) requires a minimum of 57.5 hours.
All students who major in Theatre with a Music/Theatre concentration must fulfill the departments portfolio
requirement.
The Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science degree require minimum of 120 hours.
This program may require attendance in both day and extended programs classes.
