Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)
1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology coaching and technology leadership from completing this field
experience?

I was invited to present with our partner district Frederick County, MD to discuss the partnership approach to professional development and personalized
embedded coaching support.

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)

Knowledge In order to be successful as a presenter, I had to have a clear understanding of personalized learning, embedded coaching and
professional development.

Skills I had to be able to engage participants in a station rotation format while managing time, and sharing exemplars.

Dispositions I truly believe in the transformational power of personalized professional development, and I shared the proven success metrics that
my team has collected to illustrate the effectiveness of this model.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
I am unable to collect specific data proving the impact on school improvement, however many leaders and professional development agents attended our
session and gave great feedback. I hope they have implemented some of the strategies we shared to impact teacher development.
