B) Deve-se empregar um tamanho de cpsula que permita a adio de, pelo menos, 50% do volume
da cpsula para seu preenchimento. A no utilizao de uma quantidade adequada do excipiente
adequado permitir a higroscopia e o consequente amolecimento da cpsula. Portanto, empregue
um tamanho de cpsula maior, que permita a adio de quantidade adequada de excipiente. Se no
for possvel, devido quantidade de ativos, fracione a dosagem em duas ou mais cpsulas, de modo
que possa adicionar quantidade suficiente do excipiente.
C) Deve-se utilizar nos excipientes substncias absorventes e dessecantes, que possam reduzir a
tendncia higroscopia dos ps (ex.Aerosil 200, talco farmacutico, carbonato de magnsio leve,
xido de magnsio leve, talco, fosfato de clcio dibsico, etc.). Lembrando-se que os mesmos
influenciam negativamente na desintegrao e dissoluo das cpsulas e, portanto, devem ser
utilizados em concentraes compatveis.
Relacionamos abaixo algumas sugestes de frmulas de excipientes para serem utilizados em matrias
primas higroscpicas de acordo com o grau de higroscopicidade, utilize as que mais se adequarem s
particularidades de sua farmcia de manipulao.

Obs.: Aerosil 200 tambm possui alguns sinnimos comerciais como Dixido de Silcio Coloidal,
Slica Coloidal Anidra, Aerosil ou Cab-O-Sil
Obs. 2: Para medir a higroscopicidade de uma matria prima faa um teste simples: Tare um SACH-
filtro (daqueles redondos utilizados em laboratrios de qumica analtica para filtragem simples) e pese
1g da matria prima a ser analisada. Deixe por 10 minutos e retire, quanto mais ativo impregnar no
SACH filtro mais higroscpica a matria prima. Por exemplo se 0,7g continuar no SACH a matria
prima 70% higroscpica (alta higroscopicidade). Lembre-se que estes testes dependem das
condies de temperatura e umidade do seu Laboratrio de Controle de Qualidade.

Espectrofotometria de absoro no ultravioleta, a soluo da amostra apresenta mximos de absoro em 230nm e em
274nm, idntico aos observados no espectro da substncia padro
Cromatografia em camada delgada, com obteno de mancha principal de posio, cor e intensidade similar a obtida

a) Calcule o peso de cada frmaco para se fazer 100 cpsulas. Cada 50.000UI de vitamina A
equivale a 1g de vitamina A acetato.

O Fator de Correo (Fc) utilizado para corrigir a diluio de uma substncia, ou o teor do princpio
ativo, ou o teor elementar de um mineral ou ainda a umidade. Esses acertos so feitos com base nos
certificados das matrias-primas ou nas diluies feitas na prpria farmcia.
Muitas matrias-primas so comercializadas na forma diluda pelo fabricante, e com isso o clculo do
Fc deve ser feito para 100%. Para o clculo do Fc devem ser considerados:

aciclovir de 225,2g, encontre a massa que corresponde aos 5% de umidade.
1 / 10 significa diluio 1 para 10. Ou seja, 1 parte (pode ser em g, mg ou mcg) do frmaco para 10
partes de diludo (frmaco + excipientes).
1 / 100 significa diluio 1 para 100. Ou seja, 1 parte (pode ser em g, mg ou mcg) do frmaco para
100 partes de diludo (frmaco + excipientes).

5) FATOR DE EQUIVALNCIA
O Fator de Equivalncia (Feq) utilizado para fazer o clculo da converso da massa do sal ou ster
para a do frmaco ativo, ou da substncia hidratada para a anidra. As informaes a respeito da
aplicao do Feq devem estar embasadas em literatura oficial, pois uma substncia ativa nem sempre
pode ser utilizada em sua forma livre: muitas vezes, a formao de sais ou steres tornam a substncia
mais efetiva e segura, com condies farmacotcnicas adequadas s necessidades dos pacientes. O
Fator de Equivalncia aplicado para tornar a dose da substncia disponvel para o preparo do
medicamento, equivalente dose em que est expresso o medicamento de referncia.
Na maioria das vezes os frmacos so prescritos pela sua denominao usual, mas esta nem sempre
idntica forma farmacologicamente ativa ou est disponvel comercialmente. Alm disso, muito
freqentemente, as matrias-primas no apresentam teores de 100% ou se apresentam na forma
hidratada.
A. So nmeros que multiplicam as massas das substncias para se obter a quantidade desejada.
B. Permite intercambiar uma substncia na forma salina, Ester ou hidratada com a sua molcula
base ou anidra, em relao a qual a F.F estaria dosificada. No clculo do Feq devem ser
considerados:
