Mark 12: And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning
together, and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which
is the first commandment of all? And Yeshua/(Jesus) answered him, The first
of all the commandments is...
Shema/(Hear) O Israel, YHVH/(The-LORD) Eloheinu/(our-God) YHVH/(The-
LORD) is Echad/(One)...
In the recitation of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, special emphasis is given to the first six Hebrew
words of this passage [Shema Yisrael, YHVH/(Adonai) Eloheinu, YHVH/(Adonai)
Echad] and a six-word response is said in an undertone [Barukh Shem kevod malkhuto
le'olam va'ed]. After a pause, Deuteronomy 6:5-9 is then recited, which stresses the
commandment to love YHVH/(The-LORD) your Elohim/(God) with all of your heart, soul,
and might.
The second part of the Shema is from Deuteronomy 11:13-21, beginning with the
word vehaya. It declares the Jews acceptance of the commandments and stresses the
blessings that come through obedience to YHVH/(Adonai) and the consequences that
come through disobedience.

Translation: And if you will indeed obey My commandments that I command you
today, to love YHVH/(The-LORD) your Elohim/(God), and to serve Him with all your heart
and with all your soul, He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and
the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil. And He will
give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full. Take care lest
your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;
then the anger of YHVH/(The-LORD) will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the
heavens, so that there will be no rain, and the land will yield no fruit, and you will perish
quickly off the good land that YHVH/(The-LORD) is giving you. "You shall therefore lay up
these words of Mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on
your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to
your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are
walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall write them on
the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your
children may be multiplied in the land that YHVH/(The-LORD) swore to your fathers to
give them, as long as the heavens are above the earth.
The third part of the Shema is from Numbers 15:37-41 and concerns the use of the
tallit, a rectangular prayer shawl with four fringes/tassels-(word in Hebrew: Tzitzit). One
tzitzit is attached to each corner of the tallit. The reason for wearing the tzitzit is to
remind oneself to observe all of the commandments of YHVH/(The-LORD):

Translation: YHVH/(The-LORD) said to Moses, "Speak to the people of Israel, and tell
them to make tzitzit/(tassels/fringes) on the corners of their garments throughout their
generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner. And it shall be a
tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of YHVH/(The-LORD), to
do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined
to whore after. So you shall remember and do all My commandments, and be holy to
your Elohim/God. I Am YHVH/(The-LORD) your Elohim/(God), Who brought you out of the
land of Egypt to be your Elohim/(God): I Am YHVH/(The-LORD) your Elohim/(God)."

Mark 12:28-34 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning
together, and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which is the first
commandment of all? And Yeshua/(Jesus) answered him, The first of all the
commandments is, Hear, O Israel; YHVH/(The-LORD) Eloheinu/(our-God) is Echad/(One)
YHVH/(LORD): And thou shalt love YHVH/(The-LORD) thy Elohim/(God) with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first
commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto
Him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is One Elohim/(God); and there is
none other but He: And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding,
and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is
more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Yeshua/(Jesus) saw that he
answered discreetly, He said unto him, Thou art not far from the Kingdom of Elohim/
(God). And no man after that durst ask Him any question.

Psalm 3
1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up
against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine
head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy
hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have
set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine
enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Psalm 91
A messianic psalmThe Lord will deliver the Messiah from terror, pestilence, and
warThe Lord will give His angels charge over the Messiah and deliver Him and
honor Him.
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under
the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will
I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the
noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth
by day;
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it
shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High,
thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy
dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a
stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and
the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set
him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS
Master of the Universe, behold I forgive and pardon all who have angered or
provoked me or anyone who has sinned against me, be it against my body, my
possessions, my honor or anything else that belongs to me, whether they did this
accidentally or willingly, intentionally or unintentionally, whether they did this in
word or in deed, whether in this life time or in a past incarnation. May no person be
punished on my account. May it be Your will L-rd my G-d that I may sin no more and
whatever I have sinned before You be wiped clean by Your great mercy and not by
me having to suffer or be ill. May the thoughts of my heart and the words of my
mouth be acceptable before You L-rd my rock and redeemer.
