As a highly motivated and dedicated student with excellent communication and teamwork skills, I would like to apply for
the position of the Database Management assistance as an intern. The companys good image and reviews made me
realize that this was the best decision for me.

My current enrollment at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) requires that I complete at least one full
month Internship in a well-established and prestige business. I am currently majoring in business administration with an
above average GPA of 3.1 which reflects my work ethic and persistence.

From my studies at SALCC I realized that I have a great interest in the technical side of business which involves being
tech savvy and familiar with the different business applications like Microsoft Database, Excel and Word. Having this
knowledge makes me a great candidate because of the large IT department now establishing in the bank. From my
research I noticed that Bank of Saint Lucia has a large client database which is time consuming for a small amount of staff
to manage solely. With extra assistance from me this can be beneficial for both the employees involved in the department
and the business to get more work done quicker in the short run and if am given full employment this can also benefit the
firm in the long run.

During my time spent at SALCC I acquired basic knowledge of computer systems and the use of computer applications
which I then took it up on my own to sharpen my skills to arrive at an intermediate level of understanding. This allowed
me to become a quick learner and to be very adaptable to any new software applications I came across. I am continuously
learning and enhancing my skills to make me a more effecting employee.
