Pertinent facts - According to the first statement ( parang police report):

LS was driving in the middle of the way. The truck in front of LS stopped, LS swerved to the left
which was free. Upon passing through the truck, LS was shocked by the appearance of PV
crossing the highway. LS swerved to farther left, but because PV run accoss, PV collided with
the right side of LS's car just behind the right front wheel, bouncing out and hit the right frontal
windshield of the car. LS stopped and attended PV, shouting for help but to no avail. PV talked to
LS that despite the warning of the traffic enforcer, she still took the risk and crossed illegally
because she was in a rush.
Police and ambulance arrived, taking LS and PV to the police station and hospital, respectively.
Jose, Jr., H of LS, Lorna and Jose, Sr., Jr's sister and father, respectively, arrived at the police
station, Sr. assisted LS while L and Jr. went to the hospital to aid PV.
There was agreement between L & PV and daughters of PV to acknowledge non-liability of LS
in lieu of shouldering all medical expenses.
LS went to PV, but suddenly PV suffered ftrom cardiac arrest and died. Sr. and L wished to help
the relatives but stepped back when one of the relatives insisted for additional monetary
payment. The said relative went to their police relative to pressure LS to pay more or a homicide
case would be initiated.

Lorna: Wishes PV to be transferred to PGH from Taguig Hospital


L examined PV, good condition but needed xrays and CT scan - no radiologists. Made agreement
with the relatives, constituted at the precinct - no one is at fault and LS shall shoulder expenses
until full recovery of PV.

Plan to transfer PV to PGH. Observed no IV line - standard protocol.
No proper amenities and equipment to cater the needs of PV (blood sugar test [CBC mach])
Bought the IV for PV.
no orthopedic surgeon for the humeral fracture called Dr. Lapid (orthopedic) for assistance.
Jr. paid all bills and getting clearance to tranfer PV.
Upon return after buying IV equipment, PV became fussy, cold and clammy.
PV began having difficulty in breathing, borrowed Stethoscope - no heartbeat - yelled to the ER
"CODE NA ITO"
Dr. Leo Lapid, the orthopedic L called, came.
L let the ER personnel to attend the patient, but upon return, PV has no brainstem function
(Coma)
NO monitoring sheets made - L reminded the nurses to monitor every 15 minutes
Patient coded 2nd - PV died.
went to funeral - the relatives wished to avail 150k and be shouldered by LS company, refued
and bargained 70-30.
Relatives do not agree. L reasoned that the relatives should be thankful that they are helping and
not abuse the situation. Relatives mentioned filing case - L countered their side of the story. NO
agreement had sufficed.
