Sophie Delaunay, Regional Coordinator for North Korea. In this article Sophie addresses
problems that MSF has encountered first-hand including the discriminatory nature of North
Koreas public food distribution system and the lack of protection for North Korean refugees.
This Article also includes many additional testimonies of North Korean refugees.
Pitri, Jean-Fabrice. "Manipulating humanitarian crisis in North Korea." ODI HPN. ODI HPN,
This article touches on aspects of what makes North Korea a humanitarian crisis. The
article touches on things like governments manipulation of it's people and the UNs response to
North Koreas lack of human rights. This article has a lot of information about North Korea but
the website formatting has a lot of errors and I don't understand why, though the formatting
errors don't take away from the information given by the article.

This website has many articles on North Korea with topics about human rights in North
Korea and it's global situation and conflict. This website offers many articles both by its experts
and by outside websites as well as offering alerts on recent updates in the news. By far the most
interesting and useful thing this website provides is primary sources including documents from
Kelly, Robert E. "2017: The Year of the North Korea Crisis?" The National Interest. The Center
In this article the author Robert goes in depth about the foreseeable future of a North
Korean-American War. The article uses President Trumps statements while running for office
and North Koreas history to talk about a predictable future. I had doubts about the validity of
this article because the website had ads leading to very clickbait-y articles so I looked up the
author and found his website where he says he is a professor and he has wrote for many other
websites about North and South Korea, but interestingly he didn't have this article listed
anywhere on his website though he had other ones he had written for the same website.
