Deemed and Standing Offer Contracts

(relevant only for customers in the Powercor distribution area)
Effective 13 January 2002, Origin Energy's prices increased by an average
of 13.5%, with the impact on customers to be reduced to an average of
4.0% when the Victorian Government's Special Power Payment
commences. These prices are exclusive of the impact of the Special
Power Payment. Origin Energy will advise customers of the Special
Power Payment details once confirmed by the Government.
