Summary

This article is about how to be an effective teacher. It gives some important strategy to

become an effective teacher. The effective teacher is always focusing on students learning. The

effective teacher must have such those elements Instructional planning, instructional delivery,

and instructional assessment planning. A good teacher never gets confused what to teach and

how to teach. They prepared very well. They plan B because there will be some problems in the

plan A sometimes. They collaborate with one or more teachers while they are planning for the

lesson. Top teachers use the students assessment data in the planning instructional. The top

teachers have multisource. They prepared to deliver their lesson and how to assess students. The

effective teacher knows Their content knowledge, pedagogical skills, instructional resources,

and even their planning for the students learning. The teachers Background qualifications,

personal dispositions, and practice are very important. The effective teacher provides formative

assessment to know students learning and understanding. They use many ways of assessment.

For example, small-discussion, whole-class discussion, portfolio, and homework assignments so

on. The effective teacher and ineffective teacher uses the diverse ways for the assessment. The

effective teacher provides more differentiated assignments than ineffective used.

Evaluation and Reflection

This article helped me to learn about the effective teachers which inspired me to be an

effective teacher in the future. The first thing that I learned that instructional planning. It will

help me to plan how to deliver my lesson, what method would be the better to use for my lesson,

and how to assess students differently. I need to prepare the lesson plan for the class before I

taught. I should know that what topic that I am going to teach, how to delivery, how to manage

time, how to handle the classroom, and how to check students understanding for learning. I must

get ready to face whatever circumstances creates in the classroom during teaching. I will walk

around while I am teaching and use the gesture. I will finish my lesson on time. If I finish my

lesson early I will plan for the rest of time before I teach. Maybe checking students homework,

play game, and let them share something they want to share. I must not just give the lecture to

kids but I should let them work in a group. Maybe I can bring some games sometimes. It will

help them to learn more. This article encourages me to use various strategy for the teaching. I

will use pictures, videos, games, and PowerPoint to teach kids. I have learned that I must not just

use a way to assess students learning. I will use more than one assessment for the students

learning. I will use group work, self-study, worksheet, assignment, homework, group

presentation, and appointment with the student if possible. I want to check their homework with

them together sometimes so I can help them to understand.
