Introduction

Situational analysis:

Historically, women have created weddings for other women. Yes the groom is
invited and men do attend but every detail and every preparation comes together
for that moment when the bride walks down the aisle as the princess for the day.
But, if given the opportunity, what would a man want for his wedding day?

Today a lovely couple has presented me with this unique opportunity. The bride has
requested that the groom plan the wedding however he wants. Yes, soon to be Mr.
and Mrs. Peter and Mary Parker have asked that the event coordinator plan the
perfect guy wedding. Ms. Mary Jane asks to exchange the vows during the
ceremony and that her father would walk her down the aisle.

Purpose:

Create a guy wedding; meaning a wedding made by a man for men to enjoy.

Target Audience:

The target audiences of this event include 150 of the family and friends of Mr.
Peter Parker and Ms. Mary Jane Watson.

Theme:

As a child Peter Parker has been fascinated by superheroes. So, it is to no surprise

that he asked that the wedding embody a superhero theme. He prefers that the
theme revolve around the Marvel comics and movies.

Goals

Make a wedding that that men enjoy

Have a good time with friend and family
Run event smoothly without error
Follow and complete event timelines and formularies
Measurable Objectives

Invite 150 People

125 people RSVP yes
60 people complement the bride and/or groom about the wedding
Come in under budget

Expected outcomes

Attendance of all who RSVPd

Men enjoyed themselves during ceremony and reception
A extraordinary event that both the couple and attendees will remember for
a lifetime

Date & Time:

October 9, 2018 at 4 p.m.

Place:

Peter Parker has asked to hold the wedding at Universal Studios Orlando, 6000
Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819. The Wedding itself will take place inside the
Island of Adventure section of the park, which will be rented out for two days. The
rehearsal dinner, reception and farewell brunch will be held in the Hard Rock
Hotel, also located inside the park. Peter has chosen the ultimate location for a
guys Super Hero Wedding. This unique venue not only has superhero themed rides
for the guest to enjoy, but it also has a hotel that doubles the reception location.
