Project Research Team

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Leader

Managing and leading the project team.


Managing coordination with partners
Detailed project planning and control including:
Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where
necessary.
Monitoring project progress and performance.
Providing status reports
Coordinating with, and updates progress to the management.
Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities.
Approving the design specification.
Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.

Study Leader (Design)

Consulting the Client and the Project Manager to establish the scope of
design management services and the composition of the design
management team;

Conducting accessibility assessments, design reviews, technical


reviews as well as quality assurance reviews of design document
submissions;

Coordinating the technical team and their activities within;

Providing the design for service procurement and/or procurement


processes;

Assisting in the functional testing and adjustment of the prototype;

Revising the design depending on the result of the functional test;

Preparing the as-built drawing after the final revision or adjustment of


the prototype; and

Assisting in the preparation of the project terminal report.

Project Staf

Providing technical expertise in order to translate the design into a functional


prototype;
Working with the study leader for consideration of the materials, processes and
machines
into the design;
Documenting and analysis of processes/systems ;
Recording the development of the project in the area and assist in the
preparation of the project
report;
Providing technician with guidance and supervising them in the machining,
assembly ,functional
testing and adjustment of the prototype;
Refining the prototype based on the revised drawing provided by the study leader;
and
Assisting in the preparation of the project terminal report.

Project Support Stafs (Technical)

Assisting in machining/welding of the equipment parts/components


Recommending better process/material to improve the functionality;
Machining and assembling;
Assisting in the functional testing ;
Adjusting/refining the prototype; and
Assisting in the performance testing.

Project Support Staf (Finance)

On a monthly basis preparing and keeping record of the expenses ;


Preparing quarterly financial report as required subject to the approval of the
Project Leader;
Preparing and consolidating expenses and corresponding records ;
Coordinating with the Supply Officer for the timely procurement of supplies and
services; and
Monitoring cash flow; and
Preparing the project financial terminal report.

Project Support Staf (Supply)

Providing expertise/advice to the project team for the provision of supplies and
services;
Providing estimated timelines for the entire project procurement process ;
Assisting the study leader in developing a procurement plan;
Sourcing materials and services within the time frame required;
Providing updates with respect to the procurement of services and supplies; and
Managing a part of the project fund and replenish the same to insure procurement
within the lead
time.
