I am writing to apply for an Intrernship at the Summit County Economic Development

Department, that was advertised by my school counselor. I have had a lot of experience
working with local businesses and think I would be a perfect addition to your team.

I have helped and managed several small or struggling businesses, to either expand or
specialize by creating and developing marketing proposals. I understand the importance
of collecting quality data and ensuring that the businesses and the consumers get the best
help they can receive. I have also been the marketing advisor for a small business situated
in Summit County. I helped create platforms on social media, created a functioning
website to increase foot traffic, and conducted a survey of consumers and developed a
plan for expansion.

I believe that my skills from my business classes and experiences will greatly benefit
your department and hope that I can discuss with you in person, with more detail, why I
