How well do you know yourself?

Do all of these steps in ORDER in your GoogleDocs (save in Classroom).

We start on Monday, the complete assignment is due on Tuesday.

STEP 1 (Monday in class)

A. Open this file in Google Classroom

B. Answer the following questions in one paragraph thoroughly on
this form
prior to the skills test:

What is your personal capital? What are your strengths, skills, passion,
purpose? What evidence you have that these things exist?

My personal capital includes my determination, intellectual skills, and

hard working attitude. I am a very determined person who will not stop
at a task until i complete it. My passion is golfing and the medical field.
My purpose in this world is to help people and make everyones lives
just a little bit better. The evidence I have to prove this is I will be
golfing at least 5 days out of the week hoping one day I become a
professional golfer, and I put other people before myself everyday
which is where my interest in the medical field comes from.

What is your intellectual capital? What is your expertise in one or two

subjects or skills? (These do not have to be exclusively academic
subjects) What evidence do you have that you are an expert in these
fields

I am very good at math in every aspect. Every lesson just naturally

sticks in my brain and that is a class that I never have to study for or
work hard in. I have had straight As in math my whole life. I am also
intellectually determined. I will never be happy with myself unless i
accomplish my goal that I set out to accomplish. If there is ever
anything wrong or not done on my homework, I will not go to bed
unless that question is filled in with the correct answer.

Where do you see yourself in September of next year?

I see myself attending UCLA for a major in biology. I also see myself on
the UCLA golf team, playing all around the country competing against
other colleges. I also see myself being a sign language interpreter as a
job while in college.
STEP 2 (Monday in class):

a. Go to the following site and take the strengths assessment:

http://richardstep.com/richardstep-strengths-weaknesses-
aptitude-test/

STEP 3 (Tuesday in Class):

List your top 5 strengths with a brief summary of what each strength
means:

1.Self-Motivation - I am able to push myself to accomplish a goal I have

set out on.
2.Innovation - I can use the things around me to create a solution to a
problem.
3.Leadership - I will take charge in a group of people and lead them to
success.
4.Integrity - I will be honest in everything I do and I will fulfill all my
promises.
5.Purpose - I like to always be busy. I always need something to do at
any moment in time.

List your top weakness with a brief summary of that weakness:

1.Determination (Do not know how it is) - Supposedly, I am not set out
to complete my goals no matter what the circumstance is. (I actually
thought that this was going to be one of my top strengths)

STEP 4 (Tuesday in class):

In narrative form, thoroughly describe what you discovered about

yourself from this strength assessment. Did you know your strengths
and weakness or did you discover something new? What was it and
how are you going to apply it? This portion is due in a separate
document to turnitin.com by Wednesday, February 15th.
