Each Colour Group will have a maximum of 5 minutes for each round.

CRITERIA

ROUND 1

Title: Can you dance to me!

A compulsory song will be chosen for all the colours to choreograph to.
It should include not less than 10 dancers

The compulsory song is THE MASS by Era (2003)

ROUND 2

Title: Together we Dance!

This is a choreographed duet to any music of your choice.
The duet should tell a story.

Round 3

Title: We dance; we express.

This is a group choreographed piece consisting of your own choice of songs. One can decide to put together a compilation of songs as
well as style of dance.
The group should not be less than 15 people
It should include the use of at least 2 types of prop.

GENERAL RULES & INFORMATION:

Judges for the night will be external people with a wide range of experience in the performing Arts industry.

Teams that do not comply with the maximum time of 5 min will get marks deducted from their group per minutes spent extra. 1
minute more will take 1 mark. 2 minutes more 2 marks etc.

The compulsory song is not to be altered in any way. - Compulsory song is THE MASS by Era (2003)

Each colour is to designate ONE person to operate their songs for them both during the final dress rehearsals and day of competition.

Each group should work creatively on their entry on and exit off the stage.
