Length of production
I will be aiming to have my documentary around 12 minutes long, I believe this
will be enough time fit in all of the information that is needed to make an impact
on the audience whilst also not going on for too long and becoming potentially
boring.
Interviewees in production

End: The end of my social action documentary will be further narration from
myself as I conclude all of my points and make my final points on rescue animals

donation and give them more information.

PRODUCTION TIPS:
Make sure there is no background noise when filming - ask to turn off all machines or film
in a quiet location and if outside try and use a wind cover and microphone.
Use TWO cameras when filming - One following the interviewer and one following you as
you had with your multi camera unit
Get MORE footage than you need - you can always cut items out but you
cannot add once you have filmed
Think about how you want the final product to look before you start filming
Add archive footage (clips, newspaper clippings, footage from news stories etc...) but
ALWAYS reference them on screen and make sure you have permission to use them
Once filming is finished make sure the following is complete BEFORE you start
to edit your production
Shot list and running order of final production (including found and archive footage)

B Roll In todays modern society, 2017, it is hard to
believe that animals in the millions are getting
mistreated abandoned and left with without
homes to live in. Unbelievably this is not just an
issue in third world countries either; it is an issue
here in the UK to. There were 56,000 dogs alone
abandoned in the UK in 2015, which is 56,000
too many. To add to this there was 143,004
reports of animals cruelty across the UK in 2016
and of course, this does not take into account all
of the unreported acts of animal cruelty, which
would raise this, number drastically.
Footage of my dog
This is Kizzi, as you can see she is a happy
healthy dog who looks as if nothing bad could
ever have happened to her, unfortunately this is
not the truth and when she was only a puppy
someone heartlessly abandoned her with no
food or protection where she would have
eventually died. Luckily, this did not happen
though and an animal rescue team found
her where she was then taken to DBARC
rescue center where she could find a new
home, that home being my home.
Footage of the I went back to DBARC rescue center where is got
an interview with Julie who worked there. She
rescue center
told me more about the rescue center and how
they help the rescue animals at the center and
help them find new homes.
Ending section, Going to DBARC and meeting Julie and all the
animals really gave me a further appreciation of
compilation of
the work that goes at these rescue centers not
rescue animals just here in Wokingham, but across the world
However, Even know there is such amazing work
going on in places just like DBARC there is still
animals that need our help, and not just the
young cute puppies and kitten but the older
damaged animals need a loving home just as
much, so please adopt dont shop. Thank you.
