Objectives: To finish the construction of the rocket and conduct the qualifying test for the rocket.
Team America Rocketry Challenge 2
List of materials:
Figure 1: The date to collect the qualification data was missed. The rocket was unable to be
flown in time.
Team America Rocketry Challenge 3
Figure 2: The RockSim simulation shows that, theoretically, the rocket would be able to fly.
Figure 3: The dimensions of the nose cone and what it would physically look like if it were 3D
printed.
As mentioned in Figure 1, the rocket was not fully completed and in turn could not flight

before the unable to be built on time and the rocket was not flown. Because the deadline was
missed, the project is considered a failed project. Figure 2 was a RockSim simulation that
theoretically shows that if we had flown the rocket, it would fly 1,632 feet in the air. The nose
cone had been bought online as the 3D printer at the Governors school and the 3D printer at
base school were all unavailable due to the demand for other items to be 3D printed. In regards
to the testing, it has been discovered that notifying authorities before flying the rocket is not
needed as the rocket weighs less than three pounds and has little propellant.
Testing will be done during Spring Break and the last piece of the rocket would be
attached, the nose cone. Since the rocket was unable to be flown on time, four flight tests will be
conducted and the results will be analyzed for physics properties. This will be the project for the
