Note

1. Candidates applying for Pharmacy & Engineering discipline(s) will also submit a copy of
registration certificate of Pharmacy & Engineering Council, respectively along with the
application.
2. Detailed terms and conditions for appointment under TTS may also be seen on the Higher
Education Commission (HEC) website: ( www.hec.gov.pk).
3. The foreign qualified candidates should attach equivalence certificate
from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
4. In case, degree has not been issued a Certificate /Notification to that
effect signed by the Controller of Examination of degree awarding
university might be accepted. In all cases statement of experience must
be supported by certificates from the employers.
5. 3% quota will be reserved for disable persons if the candidate is disable he /she will have
to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons
of Social Welfare Department.
6. 5% minorities quota will be observed

1. How to apply:
1. The candidates have to submit 05 complete sets of applications bearing
attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph for each set
and a crossed postal order/pay order amounting to Rs. 5000/- for the
post of Professor & Associate Professor, issued in favor of the Treasurer,
the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
2. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel, by
due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and
former employers; otherwise their applications will not be entertained.
3. Candidate applying for Regular, TTS and Contract basis should apply
separately and clearly mention the Post, Campus, Department & Mode
of Appointment (Regular/TTS/ Contract). Prescribed application forms
can be obtained from the office of the undersigned or can also be
downloaded from IUB website :( www.iub.edu.pk).
4. Candidates applying for more than one post and for each campus shall
submit separate application form (s) along with separate application
fee.
2. The University reserves the rights:
1. Not to fill/withdraw any advertised post / withhold the appointment
against any post, without assigning any reason thereof or consider a
person for appointment in a lower cadre against the post advertised.
2. To short list the candidates on the basis of academic qualifications and
experience. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
3. To increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per availability of
funds.
4. Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the
university.
5. The University is not responsible if call letters are not received due to
any lapse of Courier Agency /Post Office / Telephonic Message & call.
3. Applications will be received only through registered mail / courier etc. By
hand application will not be accepted, IUB employee willing to apply are
directed to submit their application through proper channel. All in service
applicants will have to attach NOC from their department along with the
applications.
4. Applicants are directed to clearly mention the name of the post
applied for, Campus Name, and Mode of Appointment on the top
right corner of the envelope.
The applications complete in all respects must reach Faculty-II Section of
the Registrar Office latest by 21.02.2017. Incomplete applications or
applications received after the due date will not be entertained even though
posted before the last date
