Introduction.

Pollution is a term that define as the presence in or introduction into the

environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects.
Pollution is one of the greatest killer that anyone doesnt care about this killer.
With the population increasing by time the producer us of the contaminant also
increasing due to improvement of the technology will consume the mother
nature by pollution. Theres fact tell that a hundred thousand of mammal species
dies in a year due to pollution. From the fact, it shows the pollution imminently
damaging the ecosystem without caring whom they will make as a prey. To
prevent the prolong suffer of mother nature, people come out with many solution
despites some of the people dish out the cause of the pollution is by themselves.
One of the prominent solution is the 3R, Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. In Malaysia,
this programme had been sort out by many type of organization and also its one
of the waste management in the small part of the system. For example, the Solid
Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation (SWCorp Malaysia).
Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation Malaysia (SWCorp
Malaysia) is an was established to ensure the successful implementation of the
National Solid Waste Management Policy. Furthermore, the policy aims to provide
a comprehensive, integrated, cost-effective, and sustainable solid waste
management system in line with society's demand for environmental
conservation and public well-being. The Corporation was established under the
Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation Act 2007 (Act 673).
The Corporation commenced operation on 1st June 2008 under the purview of
the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (MHLG). This organization has the
power to enforce solid waste and public cleansing management laws and other
matter that related to the solid waste management. The main role of being part
of the Corporation is to ensure that solid waste and public cleansing
management services will be more efficient. Besides theres also other public
figure that took part in the waste management programme called concession of
municipal solid waste management. In part of their waste management system
they also held a small programme that implement the 3R to the local community.
Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd. One of the famous corporation that concession of Municipal
Solid Waste Management. Alam flora Sdn. Bhd. contributes a lot in the municipal
solid waste management since 1995 they started the solid waste management
system. The main reason this corporation operate is to committed helping
communities to manage and reduce waste with minimal environmental impact.

percentage of this waste originates from public cleansing where covered and
open drains, beaches, highways, main roads, side and back lanes are manually
and mechanically cleansed. While solid waste management is the primary

by constantly striving to enrich the communities and the environment by

Government also took part as a solid waste management in part with other
concession. For example, Majlis Pembandaran Seberang Perai one of the local
authorities manage the solid waste management in the Seberang Perai place.
usually in government sector the waste management is a crucial thing because
only this sector cover almost all of the places and it is their most prioritize to
maintain a clean and healthy environment in each of the places. In other words,
the daily basis of the majlis permbandaran seberang perai to maintain a
sustainability waste management by introduce a waste management programme
throughout the entire places including the outskirt of town. One of the
programme is the 3R, reuse, reduce and recycle to be plant in each of person
mind that the waste can be classify or separate to its part for the authority easily

Usually non-government organization provide only a waste management
programme not organize a waste management because they doesnt have the
authority to do so. The non-government organization such as Malaysian
Environmental NGOs always spread environment crisis awareness to the
community without any outcome of money except the income of the awareness
throughout the community. For example, the NGOs made a special conjunction
with local authorities for distribute a biodegradable plastic to the people so
themselves have the awareness of how danger the normal plastic to the
ecosystem and this planet. The Malaysian Environmental NGOs plays a very
important role toward a sustainability. The primary role of this NGO is collaborate
and provide services to the Government, where appropriate, thereby
complementing and supplementing the initiatives of the Government. Basically,
this NGO were helping the local authorities and the community for making the
populated places become safe from the pollution and clean place.
Obviously, all of the organization shared the same perspective of maintaining the
world clean. By implementing the 3R concept towards the people, these
organization can reach its goal as an optimum waste management system
throughout the country. Their purpose of the 3R programme is to create
awareness to the community that all of the waste from theirs must be separated
and waste item not just a junk, it can be useful to them too.
