WHAT: Today is to introduce the new organization and board of Experience Old Town
Warrenton, who is transitioning into the leadership role of Warrentons Main Street Program
initiatives.

Experience Old Town Warrenton has decided to become a new legal entity and not for profit
organization. EOTW will be focused on preserving our history and enhancing our economic
vitality as a sustainable organization, while applying to be reaccredited by the Virginia Main
Street program.

This effort began back in January through the current board of the Partnership for Warrenton.
EOTW wants to recognize the current Partnership for Warrenton Board of Trustees for carrying
forward and selflessly passing a resolution to fully support a reboot effort because they love our
town so much and want the 28-year history and leadership of the Main Street program to be
successful, and so EOTW may carry forward the mission through the new organization.

MISSION AND VISION:

Mission for EOTW

Our mission is to foster and inspire an environment in Old Town Warrenton that enhances
economic vitality while preserving the historic character of the community; and to promote a rich
and appealing cultural atmosphere to live, play and do business.

Vision for EOTW (the organization)

Experience Old Town Warrenton will be recognized and supported as a dynamic, strong and
sustainable community organization that effectively advances the economic vitality, historic
preservation and cultural enrichment of Old Town Warrenton.

Vision of EOTW for the Town

We envision Warrenton as a place with strong character and history. It has a lively Old Town
where vitality fills the streets. People enjoy an authentic small-town experience that boasts a
welcoming and safe environment for everyone. It is a vibrant and charming community filled with
thriving businesses, exceptional public service and all the elements necessary to make
Warrenton a place where people like to live, shop, work and play.
